The employees went above and beyond to help us out...We aren't sure what exactly happened because the tires on my truck were fine when leaving Ny. We ofcourse check our vehicle out before attempting a long trip such as this.
However, during our road trip to Gulf Shores,Alabama from upstate Ny, suddenly the truck felt very unsafe, truckers were flashing me as well. So I knew I wasn't just imagining an issue from exhaustion. There was a heat advisory, so I am not sure if the long driving time combined with the extreme heat had any kind of effect with temperatures near 112 to 115. I have never heard of something like weather affecting tires before, but we discovered that all four of my tires bubbled and warped. It was craziness. Especially at the start of a trip.
We were behind time wise on top of not planning to purchase and install four brand new tires. However, the manager of tire lube and express at this Walmart bent over backward to help us get back on the road and quickly. She had an online order that had never been picked up, that had been just sitting in her stock room for quite a while. they weren't my exact size. I normally would have gone for the larger size, but it was an option for my truck and available. I hope we have a chance to take a pit stop on the way back. She deserves a huge thank you. If not I hope this review gets them more sales send her a thank you for me....
Not many people will go that far to help complete strangers out of a sticky situation. Apparently, my original tire that came with my truck are special order tires. Go figure....I dont understand that that, but I know now, at least.
I did contact two other discount tire places in the area. The first one kinda dismissed me because of the tire size the second one quoted 187 per tire before install....with a 4 hour wait....yeah Happy to have stopped at this particular Wal-Mart ????

Done and back on the road in 45 minutes ????????

They always seem to have the shelves stocked. I like that this location is not incredibly busy and packed all the time. It just makes for easier and calmer shopping experience. Pharmacy is usually very busy and there is almost always a wait to drop off and pick up prescriptions. Staff are usually very friendly and helpful.

Last night I showed up at this location exactly at 10:50 PM. I let my daughter out at the front door and thankfully they let her in. However, they didn’t hesitate to rush her as she walked in! An employee immediately locked the front doors after she made it in to ensure no one else could and then turned the lights out at the entrance at 10:50 PM.

Outside, there were about 6+ employees just standing around, smoking, etc. My complaint is that you should not lock the doors at 10:50PM when you advertise that you close at 11PM. A lot of us drive a good distance to visit your store and don’t deserve to be locked out early before you officially close.

If you are going to lock people out early, then don’t advertise that you close at 11PM! Based on what I saw with the employees last night and not putting the customer first, I feel like upper management should look into this and the people that were on duty last night. Just for clarification, this was the night of 5/4/2023.

They need to add more self checkouts. They only have self checkouts on one end. They were only 3 regular registers open. The self checkout was backed up and the regular registers were backed up. The waiting time was unnecessary and the self checkouts only on the grocery side is inconvenient. Other than this the the store was clean and full.

Friendly and knowledgeable personnel. Enjoyed a laugh with a stocker and we found exactly what we needed except interior house paint, very limited selection and noone manning the post to help us but overall a positive experience. ????

Walmart always has some form of the necessities we need. The only problem is the feel and setup of each Walmart. It's the moment you enter the parking lot, the whole surrounding area seems to be screaming at you to leave. It's such a panic-inducing feeling. The walk to the door feels wrong, there's times I turn around and leave. Being inside the building seems to suck you in and you begin to feel depressed and irritable. Shopping here is an endless time loop that drags on and initiates a deep self loathing feeling. The dread of anyone approaching you drives you to the utmost sense of anger and foreboding. I could go on, but I am shaking thinking about this cursed place.

This is by far the nicest Walmart I have shopped at in the past 10 years. This store is clean, organized, and well staffed. There are multiple registers open to check customers out in a timely manner. This store needs to be benchmarked by other stores. I refuse to shop at any of the stores in Spartanburg or Greenville SC but if they were managed like this location they would get much more business.
