Looking for a tiny little town that sings of Americana?

Main Street Bistro sits on an adorable little street of historical houses within 2 blocks to a park with 2 catch n release ponds that is dedicated to veterans and full of ducks, kids playgrounds, a covered bridge and a splash pad.

The bistro has outdoor seating and a tiny indoor nook as well.
There is an ice cream parlor down the street that is sometimes open.

The bistro is exactly what a bistro in Italy n most of Europe is; small, sweet, with a simple menu that is well maintained and full of reliable favorites.

You will not have a long list of high priced hard to pronounce ingredients, you will have healthy/large portions and kind staff.

You can get; salads, pizzas, appetizers that rotate seasonally, sandwiches, and hearty lasagnas.
There are some good sweets too.

Take a break from the big city, or come n visit because you are searching for relaxation n nostalgia and joy all at once.

Oh my goodness this food (and service) were amazing. As someone who has waitressed in small but busy restaurants, it can be hard to keep up- but the cooks and servers were so wonderful and attentive to everyone. The food was incredible. Would love to see them have a large dining room in their own building one day- I seriously think they deserve it. Give them a try if you haven’t already!

The Food is not good enough for the price you pay. Its not seasoned well enough and the sauce seemed to be watered down. My whole family was sick with our stomachs after we ate there. Will not be returning. The service was good and the people were nice. The recipes need help

We were in town visiting for a church convention and found this wonderful hidden gem. Outstanding and very attentive service by our waitress. The food was amazing! The portions were definitely much larger than anticipated. Each person at our table was very impressed with their menu choice.

I was really wanting to love this place, but we were greatly disappointed with our takeout order this evening. The chicken parmesan was a very bland piece of chicken laid over a small bed of noodles and far too much sauce, which was super watery and didn’t have much savory flavor. My son got the kids chicken alfredo, which was also mediocre. The pasta was grossly over cooked and the same bland unbreaded sliced chicken breast was laid on top of the pasta. The breadsticks left much to be desired as well.

The only positive I can give is that the food was hot and the beignets were okay.

I’m sad to say we won’t be returning.

Ordered a deep dish cheese pizza and it was fantastic! They have fast and very friendly service! The actual owner came by to check on us and so did a few other employees. They were on top of everything including great food!

We loveee everything we have ever eaten here. Baked feta is a must every time we go. The all meat calzone is the biggest you could ever imagine. I always request the sweet sauce on my spaghetti or lasagna. It's a southern thing so if you dont like it sweet just say no please. Thank goodness you still have 1000 island as most restaurants have stopped carrying it. Walking in you feel like family coming home. EVERYONE says hello, all waitresses check on you and mama is gng to stop by your table. Theres no reason to need for anything and you're gng to have refills. The place may seem small inside but theres overflow outside seating. You have to remember not every building started out as an eatery. Their drive thru business is always booming. Parking can be back, front or side. It's not easy to see from the road but if you follow the cue from the parking lot you'll know it's worth your time. We love you guys and thank you for an excellent experience always. Oh n the music is always spot on and sets the tone that makes me want to get up afterwards and dance my meal off.

Yes, that is a cafe you can barely see from the street! Really great experience! My wife and I had family in from New Orleans, and we ended up eating here. The portions were huge, the sauce was fuego, and the price was economical. Also, aside from being busy the service was really on point. I think four adults and a little one was around $60 + tip. We will definitely be back.
