This was our favorite place we went while on vacation! The Gulf had the best vibes, food, and drinks. Even though it's all outside there is a great breeze that comes through so you're never miserable hot, even on an August afternoon. The tacos were amazing, the fries are home made so they're extra good. We loved everything about this place and a bonus that it was kid friendly.

We loved this place so much we went two nights in a row for dinner. We are a family of 6 and we were able to walk in each night and find a large table to accommodate us with no wait. The atmosphere and food are unrivaled in our opinion.
The restaurant itself is made up of shipping container structures. The seating is completely outdoors with comfortable choices in the sand areas or fully umbrella picnic tables. If your family has littles the beach is PERFECT entertainment for young ones while you eat in peace! There is bar seating and an upper deck area as well.
The food is amazing with fresh seafood and local cuisine. The second night we went back they had slightly altered the menu to include what we assume was locally available fish for that day. This place is five star all the way make sure you try it if your in the area.

Pretty awesome place. Especially when you live 17 hours away from it and naturally the beach. Very friendly staff, cool ambiance, lots of seating for everyone, food was out very quickly. I almost want to remove a star for the wonderful burger (DELICIOUS!) coming without cheese and then having to pay $2 for a slice of cheese… But I won’t. Highly recommended!

Food was outstanding, service was good and the atmosphere was lively. The bronzed flounder had an excellent taste and texture and I was impressed with the risotto as well. Overall an elegant meal in an entertaining setting and a place I'll remember having a great time with family! ????

I had a wonderful experience at The Gulf. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy the view, drinks, and food.

However, the food came out too quickly. Possibly, a good thing for others. For me, I couldn’t finish my drink before the food arrived. This was a bit of a problem as I don't like to drink after eating. Regardless, this was a minor issue that didn't take away my great experience there.

I absolutely love The Gulf! It is a beautifully decorated place that is located right along the beach and is very spacious. The service was great, and our food was prepared efficiently and tasted amazing. The Gulf Burger and Loaded Fries might be the best burger and fries I've ever had from a restaurant. On top of it all, it is quite reasonably priced! I would definitely recommend The Gulf to anyone in the area!

Didn't get to eat but will definitely be back. Awesome service. Beautiful seating. Fun atmosphere.
UPDATE: we went back today!!! So Dang good! Food , people, table, drinks, all of it! Must stop by and see for yourself.

Is there anything better than hanging out on the beach with great food and cool cocktails?
Love the setup; sitting under the palms with nice outdoor furniture and old containers for a bar… very cool.
Nice friendly service, good offering of appetizers, sandwiches, etc. as well as tasty cocktails.
Definitely one of my favorite hangouts.????????????
