Met a friend here for lunch. Ordered ribs and pulled pork with Baked beans and washed it down with sweet tea. I was so happy. Everything was delicious and the staff was super pleasant and professional. I will definitely go back if I am out this way again. I want to try their breakfast they are supposed to have very good biscuits and gravy!

The BEST BBQ ???? in North Alabama!! The friendly staff and owners are such an important part of our community. My husband says that their potato salad is the best he’s ever had! ❤️ Our family loves Old Hickory!

Incredible!! Seriously - as good as it gets! THE BEST chili cheese dog this side of Dog River, Saskatchewan!!* The Ribs and Wings were as good as any I've had anywhere! The fries and potato salad could not have been better! The service was prompt, kind and friendly. The place was spotless and comfortable. I wish I could tell you about everything on their menu - but we barely could eat all they served us. We WILL BE BACK!

I wanna start by saying my husband went in and grabbed it and said the folks here are SO nice! And I feel terrible this was our experience.

To begin with, my husband comes from a big family and will eat anything. He even agreed this wasn’t good. The turkey was not good. The Smokey flavor was weird to say the least and as you can tell from the photos it wasn’t “right”. What turkey has gristle on the top, sides and middle of EVERY piece. We served everyone a plate and it all went in the trash. An entire family of 6 refuses to eat it. The sides tasted store bought. Again the mac and chees has a weird Smokey flavor that isn’t enjoyable in a watery mixture around it. The potato salad was surprisingly well loved & of course what we got the least of. Even the chocolate pie was not enjoyed, whatever the top fluff is was universally scrapped off as we all pawed at the watery underside. The pecan pie was over cooked & hard to break apart. I made no “back up” thanksgiving, so ours was just ruined quite frankly (nothing else is open today). The “rolls” they mentioned came with the meal was a literal pack (still in the plastic) of regular store bought Hawaiian rolls. That should be mentioned when one is buying what should be restaurant made/hand made food. Nowhere was that told. I wish we had somewhere to donate any of this because I’m not kidding when I say no one in this family of 6 could stomach it down.

We also received ZERO reheat instructions in the items OR the pick up email.

This place is wonderful! The staff was super friendly and the venue is exactly the vibe for southern BBQ. I had the brisket sandwich and the potato salad! Love love love! I will definitely be back!

Great place to grab a bite! Wonderfully friendly service, and great food. The atmosphere inside and out pleasantly compliments this establishment. Fantastic hometown barbecue joint! Not to mention the amazing breakfast options for all you early birds out here!

We've been frequenting Ole Hickory BBQ for many many years. Recommended to us by friends and so worth the stop. From the addition of items from their lovely former cafe for breakfast to the long time favorites -- chopped chicken sandwiches, ribs, brisket, and all the sides and desserts we've never been disappointed. NOW they've added burgers. Just devoured a cheeseburger and it was outstanding. The meaty juicy and flavorful, the toppings neat and fresh, and the bun soft but toasted. YUMMMMMMMMMM.

Hole in the wall place with amazing food and a vintage country look inside and out. Everyone was polite and definitely made us feel at home. Must stop if you're in the area.
