The food was incredibly delicious. Possibly the best meatballs I've ever had. The crusts on the calzones were perfection. Nice wine list, although very pricey. Could use a few more moderately priced selections. Small but good variety of draft beers. Unfortunately, the room was small, stuffy, and overly warm. My chair was is a puddle of standing water. The place still had a queue on a Tuesday night though and the take out business was also brisk.

Was the pizza good? It was good, but def not $27 a pizza good. I can get as good of a pizza at mellow mushroom with more toppings.

No parking/no seating at this place. You need a reservation.

As you can see from my pic, the pizza toppings wasn't evenly dispersed. Expect more from a $27 pizza. Def a lot of hype with the awards but like I said, it's overpriced for what it is. I could have went to stone age and got all you can eat steak for this price.

I drive past this place nearly every day and finally decided to try the hype. I did a pickup order and the pizza was honestly lackluster. The crust was borderline burnt in places and yet somehow still slightly doughy in others. The chunks of chicken were too large to be a pizza topping in my opinion.

It was just an average or even slightly below average pizza. The price does not reflect the quality.

Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. A friend of the owner recommended this shop to me and I thought they raved about because it was someone they knew. But no, it was amazing. Perfectly cooked crust, excellent toppings- I already cannot wait to go back. I really dont know what to say beyond that. It is abundantly obvious that passion goes into this pizza.

I don’t remember their regular pizzas advertised as New York style on the menu but it definitely reminded me of a smaller New York pizza. They also offer Detroit style which is one of my favorites and I am so excited to go back to try it here.

We also had salads, dessert, and a Chianti that literally transported me back to Italy. The wine list was not expansive but you can tell it was curated, which is my preference. I would rather 20 good wines than 200 okay ones on a menu. The staff was kind and attentive. Our drinks were never empty or even low- sometimes I didn’t even see them get refilled and then viola.

Finally I was able to try the world No.1 pizza!! Everything was great and I could not stop eating. Staffs are nice and kind as well. If you love pizza, please try Joe’s world class pizza at this restaurant!! A+++

Best pizza and meatballs I’ve ever had, hands down. The pizza sauce has a hint of sweetness and tastes like the tomatoes were grown right outside and crushed in the back- so fresh! The pizza dough is so light and airy and perfectly crispy from the wood fired oven. This was the perfect meal, and my new favorite spot in North Alabama!

Whatever pizza the owner won an award for, this isn't it. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. What we had is only a slight step above Domino's (which is awful)

The pizza: Undercooked (chewy) dough and shockingly bland overall. I don't know if they make their own sauce but, I doubt it.

The restaurant: Incredibly busy, which I would think is a good sign. It was hotter inside than it was outside at 95°. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait to dine in or 25 minutes to-go. We chose to-go which took 45 minutes. It's a small place with packed together tables and very noisy. The only waiting area is outside the front door.

The service: Both servers we interacted with at the front door looked frazzled and unhappy. There were no smiles or greeting. Both looked like they would rather be somewhere else.

Overall: Claiming "2x best pizza in the world" is an excellent goof. You got me, good one. I fell for it. What an absolute waste of time and money.

First of all Ethan our server was awesome!!! He was attentive and on point. He was patient with our 11 person group; that needed 11 separate checks. He got all of our orders correct the very first time. The food was soooo good. You gotta have the hot honey! The meat and cheese plate was delicious with the added arugula and grapes. The pizza’s were huge and easily shared between 2-3 people. Awesome thanks!!!
