We enjoyed Gulf Island Grill two days back to back! The staff are great, food is delicious, and we couldn’t suggest the Gulf Island Bucket more! Beautiful patio seating with a beach breeze. We shared the surf and turf with stuffed crab it was cooked to perfection & plenty for my husband and I. The gumbo & crab corn bisque were so good as well. In our opinion this place is a gem and I hope more people visit and try it out. We can’t wait to be back our next visit!

The wait was only about 30 minutes at around 1:00 p.m. on a Saturday. Our waiter was helpful and checked up on us occasionally to see if we needed anything. They got our food to us relatively quick and the food was very delicious. There are many interesting and unique decorations plastered along the walls to keep you entertained while you wait for the food. Everything was clean and the employees were extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice seafood place.

The staff was so friendly and inviting... just on service alone. I highly recommend this place.

The food was really good, I was not a fan of the chicken Alfredo, but my party loved it. I had the grilled chicken (not sure of the spelling), and it was so tender, full of flavor, and the rice was excellent. I normally am not a fan of most rice, so this is saying something.

If you are looking for unique daiquiri flavors, this is the place to go. They are so smooth and creamy, I had the orange, and it was very much like an orange dreamsicle and very dangerous in the sense that you can't taste the alcohol so it goes does real easy.

Make sure you stop in while visiting the beach. You won't be disappointed.

There were 14 of us so we had an hour wait which was fine as they were packed. But when they came outside and called your name they were hard to hear over the traffic and to just understand who they were calling. Needless to say we missed our calling and had to wait some more, then we had to split up the group into three separate tables. One of which was on the other side of the room. Our table got our food and finished eating, we were on our way out and stopped at the others tables, they hadn’t even gotten their food yet. I got the Grouper Parmesan and wasn’t impressed, the fish had no texture it was mushy. It appeared the kids liked the Shrimp Scampi and Chicken Alfredo. It just seems like prices have skyrocketed, $17 for two chicken tenders and a small order of fries. Where’s a Popeyes when you need them.

OK, this place has some really good reviews, but, today we did not see their good side. We ordered the ribeye Steak, which was touted to be best on the gulf, wanted cooked medium well done, what we got was rare to red ???? meat. I sent it back and they did cook it for a few.more minutes, I think, but it was still nowhere near done correctly.
Also ordered the jumbo fried ???? shrimp, 10 pieces, got 9, and they were not fresh. I know, it sounds like I am complaining a lot, but there was much to not like, considering what it cost. And to put fuel ⛽️ on the fire, you will be charged a fee for using a card, this little bit of info was not on the menu, which I think should be. I don't think I ???? would come here again. Oh, the server was very good..nuff said..

Ordered the rib-eye to be cooked to medium and it ended up being raw still in half of it. The coconut shrimp wasn’t great. Not very much shrimp and mostly just coconut and breading. The lady taking care of us was very nice and took care of us though. She took the steak off our ticket.

Overall decent visit. It was walkable from the condo. There was a wait. We ordered and an entire meal was missed, the handling of that was disappointing from the management team. The grouper was overcooked for 3 of the meals. The pickles were good.

Exceptional food and drink. Zach and Katie were amazing! So friendly and accommodating, we’re so great with my three young kids. We are here during Spring Break, so it’s a crowd but we couldn’t be more pleased! HIGHLY recommend the YaYa! We ordered the Bon Secur Platter, Blackened Chicken, Sea Food Alfredo, and kids chicken tenders. Everyone is happy! Can’t wait to come back!
