First, I want to give a round of applause to Bill for the most incredible bacon ???? ever! It's smokey, delicious and thick cut. That bacon is the reason I drove to Fairhope from Pensacola to have lunch. The restaurant itself is quirky and fun, I can only imagine how good the rain must sound on that tin roof. It's an outdoor/indoor seating situation, sit outdoors if you can.
I ordered the blackened fish sandwich with fries and my friend ordered the BLT with fries. Honestly, I can't really say my sandwich was blackened, but it was flavorful. My friend had the BLT and it was very lettuce forward when it should have been heavy on the highly acclaimed bacon. Service was really good, I had a great time chatting with the servers. I love the ambience and the setting, really nice. I will definitely stop by again.

I got the bacon cheeseburger and French fries. The burger was really good and the fries were good and crispy.

Went there from a recommendation from a TikTok friend on our way back from Gulf Shores.

The food tasted great. My husband had the chicken gizzards and the portion was very small. However he mentioned it to our waitress and she immediately spoke to someone and we were given a discount! No we did Not mention it for a discount but this shows Bill E's is a Great Old Fashion restaurant with true customers service. The bacon and burger was great! But the Pork Belly and Brownies are WOW!!!! We will definitely be back! Our waitress was awesome too!

The food was excellent, the staff was nice. The entertainment was very good. The mosquitoes will pack you away while you eat. They really need to do something about the mosquitoes. 13 bites on both arms. We'll go back but with bug spray on.

Rustic, courteous service, reasonable prices good value. The sandwiches were the pork belly and the shrimp sandwich with bacon. Both were really good, nicely smoked, good combination of flavors without getting overwhelmed and well put together with slaw and a good tasting bun.

I’ll come again, I hear their burger is off the charts.

I’ve been back 3 times since. I love it. The holy cow burger is off the charts good. Whoever decorates there has a sense of humor!

I always enjoying coming here! You cant go wrong!
We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was wonderful (Dani was personable and attentive)! We will be back!!

First time we visited I had mixed feelings after so many people said they just love it. But after going back a second and third time, we get it now. They are really known for their burgers and smoked bacon. I enjoyed the tuna sandwich on my first visit, the waggu burger the second, and a plain burger the third. If you like fried gizzards or fried pickles, then this your kind of place.

You will not be disappoint. The only negative I can say is that the smoked bacon tends to be a little over-smoked in my opinion. I love smoked meats and my son and I smoke brisket, chicken, turkey, etc. It is an art to not over smoke the meats. But maybe that is what people prefer around here. It's really good either way.

Update: I have been back here three more times, as everyone that has visited us this summer wants to go there. The bacon was excellent every time.

Had a wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was perfect. They went over and behind our expectations even with last minute changes. Food and service was excellent.
