This is one of my favorite restaurants in Dothan! And since the move to the new location, the food and atmosphere is even better! I used to notice inconsistency when it came to spice levels but since moving, it's always as expected. The menu has also expanded and when I see items going out to other tables, they loon very good and worth trying.

Who knew that in the middle of Alabama there would be a nice surprise of Indian and Peruvian food. Such great variety and everything was so tasty. The decor was elegant yet welcoming and the lighting was perfect. Enjoyed a lentil soup with Paneer and Butter Naan. A must!

It was a wonderful evening at Taj. I really like the new location.

All I wanted was the spinach garlic naan bread. The naan bread is WONDERFUL!!

Latin Motion was awesome, and I had the most amazing evening listening and dancing to their live music.

I absolutely love the new location! Looks like Dothan has a new hangout spot! Gorgeous on the inside. The food was amazing! My son had chicken tenders and fries from the kids' meal. I had the chicken kebob sandwich with rice. The sandwich was huge. More food than I could finish, and so delicious! We also had some cheese dip. It had a nice jalapeño flavor without too much spice. Very tasty.

This is a MUST stop!!!! This was only my second time to eat Indian cuisine, but my first time to eat here. I was traveling solo from out of town and stopped here for dinner. It was AMAZING!!! The staff was so kind, friendly and helpful in making suggestions. The general manager stopped by on several occasions to check on me and I enjoyed chatting with her so much! She offered up SEVERAL amazing suggestions that I tried. My waiter was great as well and very helpful. Please do not leave without ordering some of their INCREDIBLE selections of Naan bread! I don't imagine you could go wrong with any of them, but don't sleep on the feta garlic Naan. I ordered the hummus app w/feta garlic Naan bread. I Ordered Butter Chicken with a side of Tikka Masala sauce and garlic Naan to go with it for my entrée. You can order extra chili paste on the side to customize your spice level of your dishes. If you like coconut, then PLEASE do yourself a favor and order their Peshwari for dessert (coconut, raisin, sugar mixture rolled into Naan bread- you can't see or taste the raisins in case that is not your thing)...it is INDESCRIBABLY INCREDIBLE! It probably goes without saying, but I had plenty of leftovers!!! This restaurant has a great atmosphere! I was super casually dressed (hat, leggings, tshirt) and I felt comfortable being there. You can dress up or dress down and still feel comfortable eating here. Kid friendly as well, several families were there. I can't wait to come back and try more delicious food! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Since the location change and remodel OMG. The last location had indoor and outdoor dining but the new location is muah ????. The outside dining area has a stage for live performances. The indoor dining area is warm and inviting. The menu doesn't disappoint either choices of a wide array. Choices include food from around the world Greek, India, Mexico. The servers appeared knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients in different dishes. Vegetarian and vegan options covering many lifestyles.

Service was excellent.
Food was on point!
Spice level 6-8 is just right for me. I'd say right below jalapeno spice level.

This place has nothing to do with Greece. It has everything to do with Indian cuisine...and at its finest. My mulligatawny and lamb methi was the greatest I've ever had. And I've been eating this stuff since 1979!
The restaurant setting is upscale, the service is seamless and food is just mind blowing. This is a fluke restaurant in an out-of-the-way location. Might be risky, right? Happy to report, it's a 10!
