This public is in the center of Downtown Birmingham so parking is a nightmare but that’s everywhere. It was very clean and the staff where extremely friendly. I cannot remember the name of the woman who helped me but she went out of her way to get me what I needed. I was able to walk here from visiting a loved one in the hospital which was a bonus because I didn’t have to pay for parking again and the walk was short and easy. When I arrived at this Publix they were out of fresh fruit and the only reason I made the small journey was because my loved one was craving pineapple and I wanted to get him some. I asked one of the staff if they would be able to cut a whole pineapple for me if I bought one and instead of doing that this woman, who didn’t even work in produce, found her supervisor and he cut me a fresh pineapple. It was an act so small but it meant so much to me and my loved one. Something as simple as a pineapple warmed my heart because it was the only food my loved one had craved in days and it was great to be able to give him that. They also had a very large supply of heath drinks which he also enjoyed. The kindness shown to me here and a beautiful breath of fresh air compared to what I’m used to at other grocery stores.

Living downtown I go to this Publix multiple times a week. It is not unusual to see only two lanes open, one of which is an express lane for 10 items or less. This results in quite a wait and an awkward line going up an aisle while everyone weaves around you. They’re always stocked with what I need, however the line almost drives me to piggly wiggly.

1st time Out of State (NY) visitor on a PMV. Stopped in to stock up on much needed groceries.
Love the layout, bakery goodies, sandwiches and prepared meals. Employees were very helpful. Checkout was fast and the cashier was very friendly.
Will definitely stop in again before heading back North.

Lovely grocery shopping experience. Extremely helpful employees, well organized and clean. They live up to their motto “where shopping is a pleasure”. Prices are a little higher than some places, but definitely enjoyed my experience.

This Publix is always super convenient and super pleasant. You can’t beat the BOGOs. I was on call at the hospital and I had just enough time to run in and get a few forgotten groceries, and they had BOGO popcorn chicken so I was able to grab dinner to since I didn’t bring anything from home. It’s always clean and an enjoyable shopping experience.

Thos place doesn't have full selections as other stores, but it's great if you live close by. Cashiers are always friendly. Pharmacy is great.
You should double check expiration on refrigerated items.

Toya J is an exceptional worker! She literally stopped me & took her time out to help me out! I was very lost in the store! Her attitude was very positive & warming ! Good job Publix for hiring a person as such!

I use this location weekly, and it is really great. I use them as my pharmacy, I pick up odds and ends here, and I hit the deli pretty often. I don't know what it is about publix chicken fingers, but I really love them, and if I need something else, their pub subs are great too. I enjoy looking through the selection while I wait on my prescriptions, but that never takes very long. Long story short, great staff, great location, I will go back, you should go.
