Hands down Birmingham’s best! Wow! Savory bites that make you sad when it’s time to leave. Delicious from start to finish. Lobster and tuna were perfect. The crab salad roll was out of this world!! The tortellini left me speechless! Wow! Thank you Ocean!

Wonderful food, amazing atmosphere, sushi and oysters were prepared fresh to order. Amazing serving staff, kind and knowledgeable. Our glasses stayed full. Clean, neat and very inviting. Quirky clientele which added to the wonderful experience.

This place was so good it made me write the review. Everything from starters to entrees to dessert awesome. The coffee was French Press absolutely amazing!!

Oh my goodness, I can't say enough about this place. I just goggled seafood near me and it came up, thank goodness. The atmosphere, the food, the service (ask for Liam) was phenomenal. I had the Chex Shrimp, my sister the scallops..... yummy. The wine selection is on point. The French press coffee, was excellent. We looked at dessert but chose to split one more glad of wine. Well worth it, we will be back. Can't say enough. Thank you Oceans for a memorable dinner.

If you’re looking for top notch food and a great atmosphere, look no further. Oceans has it all from appetizers, drinks, amazing entrees and desserts. The oysters are a great start and taste incredible. The whole red snapper, grilled over their wood fire, is the best in Birmingham. The owner, George, came around checking on the food which meant a lot, considering how busy the restaurant was. All of the staff was very helpful in anything we needed, and Chris made it a fun experience.

The courtyard at Ocean is fabulous! Make your reservation early, and if you like spaces with few people and an outside atmosphere—but hidden just a little bit—this is for you!

Great restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable with semi-dim lighting. Our waiter was wonderful as we forgot our card at home and when we realized this we asked if we could hold our reservation while we run back home to grab it. The waiter was very understanding and held the table for us and even had fresh drinks prepared for us when we returned. The oyster selection was great, probably the best oysters we have had. The only issue we had was parking was difficult. Either you have to park in the street nearby or you can do the valet, however the system they have with their valet does not appear well organized or efficient. We opted to park in the street and we had no issues. Definitely plan to go back soon.

Another great experience at Ocean! Love this place!! Jason shucked a dozen succulent "little hunnies" for me behind the oyster bar, Robbie shook me a tasty, as always, orange martini behind the bar. I then had a plate full of Truffle fries, I shouldn't have but couldn't resist! Then figured I'd had fries so may as well have dessert too! Lauren in the kitchen helped me decide on which one. And she definitely made the best decision! I had oatmeal cream pie cheese cake! Who knew such a thing even exists?! Well it does and it's a pure delight!! Will be going back again very soon, I feel sure!! I would recommend everyone do the same! Tell them Kristi sent you, lol!!
