Worst Walmart ever, items are not checked very often so they mold or go bad right on the shelf. That's if they even have it because the shelves are always empty or barely anything available. They have like 2 cash registers available except self checkouts and we all know why because people that work there are lazy or not properly trained so they bag items incorrectly smashing or breaking everything you just bought. Heck that's even if you can find anyone who actually work while there their. Everytime I go there they have 10% of there staff working and the other 90% talking or playing on there phones. Again worst Walmart ever, they should close it and if you need anything go to Madison, Decatur or Huntsville Walmarts, there cleaner, well stocked and have staff that actually work.

I literally dread going in this place. There are some really good people that work there and can tell you anything about anything to do with that store but others are just rude, disrespectful, judgmental, and there is always somebody following you around like you're going to steal something. I understand people do steal stuff but if you're there to shop not really looking for something specific and then leaving right after you find it they follow you around will ask you can I help you with anything so much you'll want to tell them yes you can buy please going away. You can always hear the self checkout people saying they're about to walk out they don't get paid enough

Walmart is my go to place weather I am in a hurry or taking my time. Overall I've always had excellent service and they always have some cool stuff on clearance....you do have the occasional wrinkle as with any business. The Athens store does a really good job of keeping the store clean and uncluttered. I'm definitely a self checkout guy so I was glad to see that they updated the register's in those lanes!!

Every Walmart should be fairly close to exactly the same. You go there because of the convenience in which the majority of what you're out to get is in the one spot. Some of the Walmart brand stuff is better than the brand name competition though. Sardines is one. It just so happens to be the only one I can recall at this moment.

I was at the door at 10:50pm and the door greeter closed and locked the door on me and wouldn't let me in. I knocked and said i needed something from the pharmacy. But he ignored me. When he got to the exit door to get a cart it opened and I went in. He was mad and said I had 10 minutes and I repeated I needed something from the pharmacy. I had paid and was out by 10:55pm. As I was walking out he kindly greeted and let in 2 other customers and didn't say any to them about closing in 5 minutes.

8/3/22 STOP MAKING YOUR EMPLOYEES DO THE JOB OF YOUR SECURITY DEPT. If you don't want backlash from customers for being stopped to check a receipt for unbagged laundry soap, HAVE MORE CASHIERS OPEN WORKING so we the customer are not doing what they are paid for. If I was going to steal it sure as hell would be worth more than a 10$ bottle of laundry detergent.

I was just wondering if there was going to be any actual food at this location any time soon or...?

Worst. I thought curbside orders were supposed to be convenient. I was mistaken.

Short story: my husband waited 1.5 hours for a curbside pickup, and NO ONE brought out the order. So he left with nothing after 1.5 hours in their parking lot. Also they can't cancel our order and it could take 7-9 buisness days for us to get our money back.

Details: I got a notification at 9:47 that my order was ready for pick up. My scheduled time was 10-11. My husband goes to pick up our order and is in the parking lot at 10:35. At 10:39 I update the information on the app that he is parked, his parking space number and car info. And he waits, and waits and WAITS. FOR AN HOUR. Then I call the store. The department that handles the curbside pickups does not answer so my call goes to someone else who apologized and said their manager is sending someone out to handle it. 30 minutes later and STILL NO ONE. I call again, the correct department doesn't answer AGAIN so I'm sent to someone who transfers me to the curbside department. Who says it's the apps fault, whoops. I ask to cancel my order bc my husband who has been waiting, patiently, for the last 1.5 hours in their parking lot with 2 kids in the car is now heading home. They said they can't cancel it but give me a number to help me. I call the help line number they give me, they aren't able to cancel my order either but are going to send it to someone else who can "hopefully" cancel it. But "worst case scenario" after 4 days the app will cancel the order due to non pickup. Then I ask what will happen with my money, they say the funds will be returned 3-5 days after the cancelation goes through. So I'm looking at 7-9 days for my funds to be returned. Ridiculous. Thankfully this wasn't my last dollar or my entire grocery budget, but it easily could have been for someone. Walmart, do better.

I have lived all over Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas and this walmart by far is the worst! The workers are unhelpful, no produce out and the manager in the meat department said no to changing out the cutter for Me to get meat sliced since I have a pork allergy.
If I have to come in here, they will get a 1 star everytime!
