Should be rated 10+ Stars! Truly a retro hamburger joint, serving great food, good service and super friendly people. I just ,happened to be driving by and caught a glimpse of the location. Does not look like much from the outside; the inside on the other hand is nothing but great food and service. Has a 97 rating on the wall. You see your burgers and fries being cooked and prepped, served in a paper bag and you're ready to eat! Look forward to a return visit. If you haven't been her you haven't been to Athens! Thanks!

We were late for lunch & they were closing, but they were willing to cook food to go. I've been craving a greasy burger & this hit the spot with good onion rings!!! We'll return.

The service was great. Based on the crowd, the food was served in a reasonably amount of time. As for the "burger;" it was not seasoned. It didn't have the texture or appearance of anything I've eaten before. The fries were perfect.

EAT HERE!!!!

They are only open for lunch (so plan accordingly), but that's great because these burgers are the perfect size for lunch (if you are really hungry you'll want to double up)... also this was literally the best burger I've ever had! We WILL be back!

And get the fried chocolate pie, too... seriously.

This is a great slug burger. The flat top grill adds a nice crispy sear to the patty. The slaw is tart and the ketchup, mustard, and pickle complement it well. It's a wonderful greasy burger. Classic, old fashioned food.

Also, get a fried chocolate pie. Delicious!

This place makes a burger unlike any other! There is something about how the patties melt in you mouth and the way grease seeps through the wax paper and brown paper bags that leaves a fella wondering when their heart will skip another beat, to they rhythm of Love. Try ordering the Triple Bacon Cheeseburger with Bacon, you won't regret it!!!

One of my favorite spots to eat growing up. Dubs makes one of the best burgers in Athens. It’s so delicious and greasy you can see through the paper it’s wrapped in! Also, very reasonable prices. If you like to try those “hole-in-the-wall” type restaurants this is a great spot with friendly service.
