We saw Mildred’s on the way to Nashville and it looked like a really popular place, so we stopped here on our way back.

We didn’t have any idea what this place was or was going to be. We missed where it said buffet on the sign…

We got it, saw it was a buffet and were seated pretty quickly even though they were pretty packed.

Granny our server and she was great!

The decor of the place was pretty cool and cozy despite it being a larger place.

I had some fried chicken, chicken Alfredo pasta, hamburger pasta, hush puppies and some other sides. It was all really good with the chicken being the standout. The hush puppies were really good too. My wife had some fish, hush puppies and salad and liked it all too.

We had some peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert and it was great.

Can’t beat the food and it was only $10.45 per person plus $1.99 for drinks.

Highly recommend stopping by if anywhere nearby!

Absolutely ???? recommend. We accidently stopped by for lunch. Good food, good people, clean, big parking, easy in, easy out. Food solid, nicely prepared, few choices but cooked right,( chicken and chicken liver for meat only), light on salt, light on breading, not greasy, salad bar fresh. Buffet style. Prices low. They need help, if someone is looking for job. Highly recommended for county solid food.

Would given 10 stars if I could. It’s rare these days to find FRESH country buffet. The place was packed we were seated in about 10 minutes. The buffet had fresh fried chicken, best catfish ever, mash potatoes that were seasoned well and really good Mac and cheese plus many out meats and veggies. The buffet was clean none of the food was crusted. I’m not a fan of buffets just because you never know how long something has been sitting there Nothing going to sit long at Mildred’s because the tables are moving. Nice staff. Very very reasonable price 13.99 for dinner. Ice cream several choices of desserts and a very nice salad bar. The sweet tea was sweet. It was a great experience for our family. The drive out to south side of Ardmore is well worth it

We were on our way home from Nashville and really wanted a salad bar. I found Mildred's on Google Maps and we thought we'd try it for lunch on a Saturday. The food was great, the buffet was fully stocked, and the staff was super friendly. We'll definitely keep this restaurant on our travel itenary for future trips!

i had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant on 7/15/23 and they didn’t disappoint. The food was very tasty. Southern cooking and the fried chicken was delicious then again everything was great. The hostesses were very polite and made us feel very welcome. One thing i always look for when i visit an establishment is cleanliness and this place was very neat and clean. they kept the buffet fully stocked. The buffet has just enough food to keep you full and not overly crowded where your overwhelmed. i would definitely recommend giving them a try and i will be going back ????????????????????????

Food was excellent and a very nice surprise. We travel to Ardmore, TN fairly regular to get Lottery Tickets but had never eaten there. That will change as we will be back, great atmosphere too and reasonably priced. Many a trip now and delicious as ever. ????

Hot, delicious down home cooking! If you are looking for a mass produced buffet, then you have come to the wrong place. Everything is made fresh and taste great! I have been coming to Mildred’s since I was a little girl. I remember the buffet out of everything else as a child even though they have a full menu as well. This restaurant still has the same great taste many years later! Today, I got the to-go buffet plate with catfish, chicken, green beans, cornbread along with macaroni and cheese. This to-go box that is enough to feed two people was only $7.49. You cannot go anywhere else and receive this amount of fresh homemade food for this price. They weigh and charge the to-go buffet boxes by the pound to price which is very reasonable. If you haven’t been to Mildred’s, you are missing out! Friendly employees and a good environment with customers with smiling faces. See you next time Mildred’s!
