Just not good. Terrible customer service and organization. They made a mistake and then did not help to correct the situation. I will also be reporting this to the BBB.
On Tuesday, 7/7/2020, I paid my water services bill online as I have for the past 15 months. On Thursday, 7/9/2020, they credited my account the amount of the bill. Keep in mind that this is not a return, or NSF, it's a credit. They did not send an email, text, letter, or make a phone call to inform me. On Monday, 8/3/2020, I went to pay my next bill and that's when I was informed that I had not paid the July bill. Thinking I must have made a mistake, I went ahead and paid the July bill, again, along with a late fee, and the August bill. After I paid the bill, and on the same day, they shut off the water. As it was night, I had to wait until the next day to visit their location to get this rectified. On Tuesday, 8/4/2020, I received my bill in the mail. After showing them my bank transactions proving I paid the bill and that they had credited it back to my account, explaining that I was not notified in any form, telling them that the water was shutoff before even receiving the next bill and after I had paid all of the bill owed, including their error, they still made me pay the $40 re-connection fee for THEIR error.
To recap, the Ardmore Water System made a mistake, didn't inform me, didn't give me a chance to even see next bill, before shutting off my water and charging me a $15 late fee, and a $40 re-connection fee.
