Clean with wide aisles and friendly staff. Bring your own bags. All they offer is paper. The selection is good but finding what you need can be frustrating. Clothes and home decor are also sold on each side. Food is on the other. Electronics are up front. The food aisles are divided in the middle by an aisle that goes across the width of the store. Different product categories are on each end of the aisle signs. I was pretty confused on my couple of trips. I enjoyed shopping there relatively well after I got used to the layout.

The prices here never cease to amaze me, & customer service is usually pretty unhelpful or rude.. But they do have certain items that no one else in town carries so sometimes it is necessary.

By the time you get dinner done. Kids down. Need to go to get groceries it's around 8 pm or later. Only one door open. Two cash registers with humans manning them. So you wait in line to check your own items. But wait... They took out the smaller self checks to put in larger ones. Takes the space of three self checks. Yay, now I can stand in line even longer. Thanks Freddy.

Rotisserie chicken n fresh made daily sandwiches are my go to here at Freddie's. I also enjoy collecting to gas rewards from my purchases. It's like get discounts for eating good food. Try the lemon pepper chicken- my fav.

Overall this is a great store. The produce can be a little hit and miss for freshness. And sometimes they're just completely out of certain things like celery, cucumbers or onions. I can usually always find what I need at carrs but Fred's does have better sales and prices. I like that they have clothing departments, produce, kitchen, garden, housewares, toys etc. Almost a one stop shop for what you might need.

Great selection, but travelers beware. They really screw you if you are from out of the area. All those great prices and deals - only if you have a FM rewards card. There is no FM or Kroger where we live, so we ended up paying about $30 more than expected. Weren’t even given the option to sign up for one.

Me and my family go here almost all the time it has almost everything! ???? It is also massive but most of the time very busy. I don't really have any complaints.
