My son and I had a great breakfast here and the view was amazing. They have a buffet or you can order off a menu. Very good food, very impressed, we will eat here a few mornings while in Seward.

If you are seated next to the window or on the patio, you'll have a nice view. Food is alright but nothing to rave about. Service is good. If you're lucky enough to have nice weather in the morning, this is a decent breakfast spot.

We have been here twice and it's worth going every time!!! Great service and amazing views from the dining area
Day 1
We ordered a salmon crostini and it was crunchy and creamy with a subtle salmon flavor. Must have for appetizers!
Then we ordered a roadhouse bowl which was filling and tasty af. Blueberry cobbler as dessert. Out of the world fresh and warm blueberries!
Day 2
We got no appetizers this time because we wanted to focus on entrees. Sweet potato gnocchi with mushrooms. Never eaten gnocchi as delicious as this. Perfect option for vegetarians.
Also, we ordered pan seared halibut (chef's choice) with polenta and pickled beets. Polenta was cooked perfectly and pickled beets were perfectly sour. Make sure to squeeze enough lemon on the halibut for the best experience.
Lastly we ordered goat cheese cheesecake and it was heavenly creamy. The lemon based crust was sprinkled on the cheesecake instead on the bottom.
For drinks we ordered the local coffee stout. It has a great coffee flavor and aroma. It's less creamy and light bodied than other stouts but definitely a great pick for stout drinkers.

Visited the Resurrection Roadhouse for dinner tonight and was impressed by the atmosphere and service. I ordered the miso ginger gnocchi with a salmon filet and did not enjoy the sauce they used. It tasted like the pf cheng's Mandarin Ginger sauce from the grocery store - too much salt, sugar and fake flavor. The gnocchi and salmon without the sauce was really good! I wished it was just tossed in butter and herbs.

My husband ordered the halibut fish and chips and thought it was really great. Overall, I'd recommend this restaurant but maybe not the gnocchi dish. I'm sure everything else is great, though.

One of the worst dining experiences in recent recollection. Host seemed overwhelmed, finally got sat and placed our order.

Came out totally burnt, you could smell and taste it. It was also extremely oily. No one ever came to touch the table, seems like no one there knows two minutes or two bites rule.

Didn't touch the dish after first bite, had to flag down server for the check. Took another 10-15 to get the check. Never asked us about food, why we left so fast or why we hadn't touched anything on the plate. Paid over 70 dollars for two orders of burnt fish and dips and a small cup of chowder...

We were served by the awesome Kathleen, who was friendly, outgoing and attentive! We shared the bowl of seafood chowder, large Roadhouse salad and the fish and chips. All were amazing and plenty to share between the two of us. Best chowder and fish and chips I've had in Alaska! The Moose Meadow cocktail was delicious too! I highly recommend dining here! Thank you Kathleen for your outstanding service!

This is a 3.5 star rating. We had both dinner and the breakfast buffet at Resurrection Roadhouse. Enjoyed dinner with a nice salad and fish entree as well as decadent dessert. Service was good. Returned for breakfast and this was less spectacular with ho-hum scrambled eggs, pancakes, yogurt and oatmeal with toppings. Service was OK, but mostly serve yourself. Must say that the views out the windows was spectacular though. Glad that there was at least another dining option close by and also a shuttle into Seward.

The atmosphere and location of this place is nice but the food is overpriced. The french toast was dry and the omelette was over-cooked. If you drink decaf make sure to get there early because once they're out they don't make more, we ordered breakfast just before 9am but they poured me the last of the decaf carafe (dregs and all) and said that was it for decaf today. Also the bathroom floor was extremely sticky, yucky. Definitely a tourist trap.
