Happy to have an Indian buffet in Anchorage. Buffet is about $20 on weekdays and $25 on weekends. They serve all the basics such as chicken tikka masala, vegetable korma, dal, tandoori chicken, naan, and kheer.

April fools day 2023.

Wife and I ate here this afternoon. Food was good for both of us. I had the Lamb Rogan Josh, and Garlic Naan, she had the chicken curry. For dessert we had the Mango Kulfi. I'm not big on rice dishes, but it was a good meal. ???? I think the booths are a little tight for us big guys though.

Food is delicious, naan made fresh when you get there. All you can eat lunch buffet is $19.95.

We had a mixed experience here. Two dishes were fine and one dish was salty. Portions are pretty small and the price is on the higher side.

The staff can be more welcoming.

Path to the restroom is clumsy and sort of demonstrated the unhygienic conditions. Also the raw materials like tomatoes were from Costco cans.

Parking is plenty and shared.

3 stars based on three review criteria 1) establisment, 2) food taste, and 3) customer service

Establishment: needs major improvement. The restaurant feels dated, disorganized and needs better climate control. We were roasting today as the restaurant was hot. I'd say this is my main reason for points deduction. When I went to utilize the restroom you have to watch yourself as the floor is slippery and you have to walk past storage racks and other restaurant equipment. This location is not the beat rwprestation of this quality of food and customer service.

Customer service: excellent! our server was friendly knew the menu very well and was quick to relocate us from our table by the window and radiant heater as we were uncomfortably hot. He quickly opened the door to let some cool air I'm and without hesitation accommodated our request.

Food: DELICIOUS!! I was amazed by the Sampler appetizer. The Vegetable Samosa is heavy, dense, and packed with flavor. Definitely limit yourself to just one! Hahaha. The Vegetable Pakora was tasty, crispy, and perfectly fried. The Chicken Pakoras was cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy, cooked to perfection. We then ordered the bread basket which we could not out down.. wow!

We then ordered the Lamb Cirry and the Kadai Chicken. We couldn't be more satisfied. The lamb was tender, good amount of meat and sauce, and delicious. The chicken too had amazing flavor.

The desserts left a lot to desire and were subpar.

Very nice restaurant with well seasoned dishes and fresh made naan. The service was fast and great. I would be sure to come back next time in the Anchorage area!

We ordered through door dash to pick up our food, we got two chicken tikka masalas and two garlic naan (4). When we got back home, I was covered in oil as well as the box of rice and the bag holding the food. We opened the masalas and there was a thick layer of oil on top. No matter how much we mixed it, the oil was still on top. We tried spooning out the oil, but no matter how much oil we spooned there was still too much oil. (The first picture is of the oil we tried to spoon out, it had congealed)

Buffet is spendy ($25 on weekends) for what you get. Food is decent but not great. Naan is good and made to order. Location is clean and sunny. Service is friendly. Nice music and ambience. Certainly a better option than many restaurants in Anchorage.
