Had an awful experience with two male employees, after charging my card six times, telling me each time it was not charging me. I had a bad feeling so I checked my bank statement and saw that they were charging me repeatedly and still wanted to swipe my card more times. They were not able to fix the problem on their end. Had to get a hold of my bank and prove to them it was not me making the charges. They still were trying to take peoples cards until I started to tell people what happened and then they told the cashiers to stop taking card. The men were extremely rude and unprofessional. It was very obvious that they had no idea what they were doing and then started to act aggressive towards me for being upset with the lack of professionalism and the blatant disrespect he was showing. He threatened to call the police on me and when I told him please do because you guys have robbed me he continued to talk to other customers about me right in front of me and never dialed the police. I told him I was recording and he tried to make excuses for his actions. I did get the whole thing on video and also him trying to explain his way out of it. Now when I come in he or the other male employee will come next to me where I’m shopping and just stand about 5 feet away from me. It’s extremely uncomfortable and obvious they are looking for an issue. It’s a shame because the owners seem nice but the managers they have are dragging them down. It’s obvious they don’t care and I’d be glad to share the video. Also have videos of them stalking me in the store after the incident.

Great store, great selection of organic good items as well as a good selection of bulk items. A little pricey, but great to find a lot of items.

The Natural Pantry has, by far, the best selection of organic, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan foods in the city. They are conveniently located in midtown and boast everything from prepared salads and a bakery to vegan makeup and aroma therapy oils. Their fruit and vegetable selection is varied and they carry several Kosher products as well. Even though the store is the same size as a chain grocery, the staff make it feel like a small local market. The are running a clothing drive (for new sweatshirts, boots, gloves, socks, etc.). So if you are headed that way during July 2020 bring what you can along.

Went in that messy store looking for organic baby formula. 56.99. in Walmart was 36...hmm.i used to work there worst place .only Mormons got raises.saw and hear verbal abuse by solbergs to employees..I don't know why anyone would patronize a place thats over price,junky,dirty for their "organic"stuff.people better places and not so over prices.

The Alaskan version of Whole Foods. I hesitate to even mention in because there’s enough competition to get one as it is but the house made salads with in house dressing are the best salads I’ve had in anchorage.

My favorite store/ local family business in all of Alaska! I hope they expand to MatSu, Fairbanks, and Kenai areas.

Like a recent reviewer said, it feels like this place is closing down. They no longer seem to have an operational deli anymore. The food buffets were great when they were there. They don't make salads or sandwiches anymore and there doesn't appear to be any sign that they are reopening them. Could be an issue with lack of workers, not sure though. The shelves are getting pretty empty as well. I would usually go there for a quick bite because their food was good. I won't typically go there for groceries since they are quite expensive. The same brands of almond milk go for almost twice as much here as Fred's. I understand they're a smaller business, but the markup seems a bit much.
