Excellent service at Spenard Roadhouse. Food was better than average. Atmosphere was a little on the relaxed chain-restaurant side.
The floors are slippery here, watch your footing.

I had a lovely breakfast at Spenard Roadhouse. I have only been here for dinner before, so I was excited to try the breakfast options. I had the veggie Benedict and it was tasty. I was able to sit in a corner table near the bar, and was given the wifi password so that I could get some work done on my laptop. I loved the music selections, the chill vibe, the clean spaces and the friendly service. I want to come back and try the spare rib hash and the reindeer scramble. I am usually not a tator tot person, but these tots won me over. I will fold this place in as one of my breakfast faves from now on. Love the fresh brewed iced tea also.

we loved Spenards! glad we got there around 17:00. we sat in the bar area, so no wait. good thing we arrived early. the place was packed and a line waiting when we left! we had the bacon jam burger and the halibut and chips. plus a beer and a cadillac margarita. everything we had was delicious! our server Brian was awesome! he was super informative, hilarious and charming. he is definitely in his niche! we highly recommend Spenards!

My husband and I love coming here for brunch! Their buttery biscuits are so good I would come just for those but their drinks selection is broad and their food is delicious!

We had our first meal in Alaska at Spenard Roadhouse. They have a very diverse menu. Many entrees and sandwiches. We experienced the calamari and tater tot appetizers. Both were very good and they did not last long. Me and my son had the fried chicken sandwich. It was huge! The waiter was superhelpful and was a new transplant from Texas. We plan to go back for the peanut butter pie!

Food came out hot, fresh and fast service. A-1 on the tator tot option instead of fries. Errol was amazing and super attentive. Nice chill vibe. Full bar is a nice option. Overall I will definitely be back.

Stopped in to Spenard Roadhouse for a late lunch. Ordered their Jambalaya (pictured) with a side of tater tots. The Jambalaya advertised Alaskan salmon and reindeer sausage and it did not disappoint! It was truly delicious and the tater tots were a perfect size, crispy and tasty. The only drawback was a not-very-friendly and pretty clearly rushed server which detracted a bit from the meal. Overall I would very highly recommend Spenard Roadhouse based on the quality of their food.

Food was good and service as well. Cool open aired place with a full bar. I had some sort of lavender vodka special cocktail that was really good. We got a gluten free bun burger but was disappointed with the burger patty as it didn’t have any seasonings but the Thai chicken wrap was flavorful. Would go back.
