This place is my favorite little spot for breakfast. I had stuffed hashbrowns. Service is friendly and on point. I've been talking about this spot since my first visit almost 2 years ago. I was finally able to head that way worth my granddaughter, sister, her grandson, and my dad. Just a great place to eat great food make great memories.. Huddle house on main Street in Shelbyville.. Thank you

We ordered take out yesterday July 9th, when my daughter went to pick it up you were closed. Online it listed open and there was a note on door saying closed & no one would answer the phone as it just rang busy. The order was over 51 dollars. We will call @7 to see if you’ll make it right. Will update then.

Updated to add: we called and rang busy. She went up there to only to be met with another note stating closed!

Updated to add again: I’ve emailed as requested.

Updated to add: spoke to a very nice Clay Aiken. He’s sending the refund out today. Will update when I receive it and change the stars. He was VERY professional!!

We went in and there were only 3 people working, several of the booths were out of service because they were broke, and there was old food on half the tables that hadn't been picked up yet. We were being patient because they were short staffed and after sitting there for 10 minutes with no service, another couple walks in and gets waited on immediately. The girl walked right by us before the couple came in and knew we were there. We just got up and left. You need some new owners and new management and apparently better help.

The restaurant had flies everywhere. The food took awhile. Was charged $1.29 for each item I added to my hash, not a problem but it's a problem when I get 1 mushroom 4 bell peppers & onions. Then I was sick the rest of the day & my son was also. The staff is awesome though!

Food was good. The cook just could not get our eggs cooked correctly. We asked for over medium eggs and they brought us hard fried eggs. The second plate looked almost as bad as the first plate. The rest of the food was nice and tasty and satisfying. Social distancing was practiced here. The noise was not bad. Our waitress was very nice. Restaurant was clean. The atmosphere was pleasant.

Waffles were good but a little thin,usually thick & fluffy,bacon was crisp. Waiter was very good!
