Wow. That food was goooood. My husband and I got the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, French fries, and fried onion rings. We are now in the best southern food coma you could ask for.

Brandy was our waitress and was so kind and helpful.

Treat yourself to some good southern food!

I've been excited to try this place since I saw the sign on the building while it was going up. Then I saw they had fried green tomatoes on the menu!

The atmosphere: Walking into this beautiful new building, we we're all in awe. There were about 4 seating areas that I noticed. One area had sports on 2 TV's. The area that included the salad bar, where we dined, was a little too open and the seats uncomfortable for the amount of time you spend dining. The acoustics (noise level) was a little loud, but not horrible where you couldn't here people at your table.

The food: The menu had your basic southern foods plus some. Fried catfish, though not on the menu, it was a special that day. The Midwestern burger had the best flavor out of everything ordered at our table. The cheese curds, bacon, and garlic mayonnaise really made the flavors. Seeing the desserts available was nice and helped decide if or what you wanted. Other than the Midwestern burger the flavors were average.

Service: The wait was quite long for our food even though it wasn't extremely busy. No condiments were on the tables or extra napkins. Tarter sauce didn't come with the catfish. These two things would have saved our server running around so much. Malt vinegar wasn't available for the fish. I didn't bother the server by asking for lemon.

Price: The price was the biggest disappointment of the experience. It was about double what I would normally paid for a family of four. A slider, chicken strips, specialty burger, catfish, with 2 desserts to split.

I would like to try more of the menu, but I can't afford it.

Exactly what you would want from a home cooked meal (without having to clean the kitchen) I had the chopped steak, mashed potatoes and green beans with bacon. My friend had the Philly cheese steak minus the bell peppers and onion rings. I could not decide on dessert so I had both the key lime pie and carrot cake.

I severely dislike leaving bad reviews, being someone who's worked in the food industry my whole life, I have a lot of patience for mistakes. But I could not let this experience slide. I was very excited to try this place, me and my boyfriend went and ordered fried green tomatoes as our appetizer. A personal favorite that was done to the worst I've ever had them. There were six over fried slices in the basket. Didn't cover the bottom of the basket or come even close to the brim. 9$ for 6 slices of tomato. Beyond that, I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and he ordered the chicken fried steak. His was severely overcooked and his side of potatoes was bland as all hell. I could tell they were real potato's not a mix, but just not seasoned right. My mushroom Swiss was the biggest disappointment. I've ordered a mushroom Swiss many times in my life and this one was easily the worst. It was severely overcooked, for some reason had bacon on it and the bun was wrong. Plus the Swiss was hardly melted. This was my first time not finishing my food at a restaurant. I let my boyfriend eat it because, well, we paid for it and he was hungry. I'm not writing this to insult you guys, I just want you to consider how the quality of your food is the single most important part of a restaurant. The atmosphere was impressive, wait staff was good.. but the food made me regret setting foot in your restaurant.

An enjoyable experience in both ambience and food. Our server Vince was a delight and the food was perfect. Big portions that required a to go box for the next day. You gotta try the cheese curds appetizer.

Exactly what you want when you think "home cooking." Whatever the special is you can't go wrong that's for sure. The four of us all got different foods and couldn't believe how good the others were. Even after the large portions of food we dared to get dessert. Forewarning you will hurt yourself on the carrot cake it's so good. The wait staff is extremely attentive and the atmosphere makes for a very relaxed and inviting experience.

Food was good. We had the pinto bean, greens, fried potatoes with cornbread. Not very seasoned. 1 piece of corn bread but the waitress did bring my husband a second piece. Fried green tomatoes, which was $9 but only about 4 pieces. Terrible deal on that. Good service. Tea was good.

Absolutely horrific food. $50 (two people) for the most laughably overcooked meal ever. To their credit, I got a fair bit of entertainment from the novelty of being served the most awe-inspiringly horrible southern food in my life.

The restaurant itself looked great, oddly enough. Very clean with a friendly atmosphere.

I'm just blown away.
