This place checked all the boxes for us. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, plenty of outdoor activities and scenery, nice and accommodating staff! Come with your own provisions, this is an off the beaten path area. There is a little convenience store and Dollar General nearby but that is about it.

This place was simply amazing. Every staff member we encountered was so kind, helpful and extremely knowledge. The grounds were amazing. The horses were well fed and perfect for our 12 year horse loving grandkid!! Canoes so convenient. And the cabin--- clean, comfortable and so inviting. Back deck was our favorite place to chill. We'll be back! Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!!! Bet wishes for your continued success. !!! Y'all totally deserve the best!

I haven't had a hospitality group go to such great lengths to ensure not only my comfort, but also my safety. We had a last min need, after-hours, to get a set of keys from one vehicle to another. The Riverview team rallied, picked me up, drove me back and forth and helped me get the keys. On the way back I learned that the storm I had been following off-and-on was picking up steam (figuratively), and that it had become a potentially hazardous storm. The Riverview team sprang into action, preparing one of the bunkhouses for us and making sure we had everything we needed before heading back out to pick up all of the gear down by the river. This is the second time I've stayed with them/rented from them and as long as we need gear or a place to stay when we're in the area, it'll be with the kind and caring folks at Riverview. Y'all are THE BEST!

Enjoy the area, the cabin is very cute however all over folliculitis isn't any fun. The hot tubs really REALLY need some attention in cleaning. I got folliculitis the 1st time I stayed there 11 years ago, thought surely it would be a fluke to have that issue again but made sure to shower after just to be safe. Checked out on Sunday & by Tuesday morning I'm covered from behind my ears & back of my neck to down my back.

The atmosphere of the cabins are private & have enough space between them to feel comfortable. The cabins are cozy & nice for the most part with an added Jacuzzi on each back deck. Be prepared to bring some good shoes for walking around on uneven, rocky terrain.

My family really enjoyed our stay at River View. The management was super responsive to any issues we had, the scenery was stunning, and the cabin was clean and cozy. My kids particularly enjoyed the trails on the property, which were clearly marked and easy to walk. If you're looking for a relaxing and secluded getaway, this is it!

Booked Cabin # 3 - The Little Country for November. When you enter the property there are signs which leads you to the office. The road is bit gravel and steep. The staff are courteous and friendly. Check in/ check out is quick and easy. Cabin is compact but comfy and clean. It comes with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, furniture and even towels. All you need to bring is food, clothes and lots of smiles. Since the weather was chilly, couldn't spend much time outdoors like hiking or grilling or just sitting at the patio. The cabin also has a hot tub for four people. However due to the amount if chlorine in it my body was itchy and burnt. So was my family. Otherwise if you want to just relax and enjoy the quite life, I recommend this place.

Personally I would not stay here again. The people here were VERY friendly, however for $200 plus per night I expected more. The cabin we stayed in (#1) was clean, but the furniture was old, dated, and dirty. Not rustic mind you, just old, dirty and worn. The hot tub was useless because it sprayed water in the air and in our faces. It was also so old that we could no longer read the controls because they were so worn. The water from the faucets stunk of metal/copper so bad that I bought bottled water for drinking and to make my coffee, and refrained from washing my hair during our stay. I get it, as we also live in the mountains and had a sulfur problem with our water, but a filtration system is a must. Another thing that is just a personal dislike is they supplied you with the absolute cheapest toilet tissue and paper towels. Again, the people were nice, and I hate to leave a bad review, but people should be aware of what to expect before booking, especially at over $200 per night. This place could be really nice with some updates.
