Exceptional!! Whenever we are in town, we have lunch at this location. The food selection is great. The number of items to choose from is wonderful. The staff is very accommodating. We were seated immediately, and while we were getting our food, the hostess was already getting our drink. Furthermore, we received fast refills on our drinks . And, they removed our plates quickly after we finished our first serving.

My wife and I eat here each time we visit mountain home about every other month. Our most recent trip June 27, was superb. Though the restaurant has always been satisfactory, there must be new management. The buffet was packed with several choices , of which many were new ones. The food was delicious. I would have given a perfect dining experience, except our waitress was not as attentive to us as we have enjoyed in the past. We had to ask for everything even though was few in our section at this noon hour. Otherwise, thank your cooks for the good food, we hope to return soon.

This was my first time going to Chen's Garden and I have to say that I loved it. They have a great selection of food to choose from. They also have one the best sushi spreads I've seen in awhile. Definitely a great place to visit while you're in Mountain Home, especially if you love Chinese Food and Sushi.

Always a good experience here. So crazy how this place has one of the best tasting fried fish I've had. Service is quick and friendly. And they are always consistent.

Had a very nice time and the food was hot and delicious! The wait staff was really on point and super friendly. Great place to have a nice family dining experience. Very nice, well maintained, and lot's of choices buffet. The dining room is well lit, clean, and well staffed. Because they are located within a strip shopping center, their parking is not within their control. You just find a spot. There are plenty of kid friendly choices at the buffet and a variety of veggie dishes. Clean restrooms. Wheelchair accessible and spacious area inside. If you have any kind of nut, dairy, or gluten allergies, I would call ahead concerning this to make sure they can accommodate an order instead because the buffet does have these in many dishes. It was delicious as always, they are very consistent and I’ve been eating there for 11 years, not once has the food been bad and what I love the best is the variety! Especially their cashew gravy and the coconut chicken is the best I’ve ever had ever. I can’t brag enough , even my husband who doesn’t eat things like that always wants to eat there. Our granddaughter loves it and always side’s with her pawpaw on where to eat .

Oh my goodness, where do I even start? Is Chicken not one of the main ingredients with Chinese food? It makes me want to throw up talking about it! I have been there 2 other times and every time someone ask me to go I say , No! This time, my mom wanted to go and I told her about the chicken! I told her that you can’t eat it, it’s rubbery! I asked the waitress what kind of meat it really was and she grinned and didn’t say anything ????u200d♀️ well I took a picture of it and it’s disgusting! Could it be ostrich meat? I don’t know but how can people keep going back in there? It’s beyond my understanding! They should be shut down!!???? I’m afraid some little kid or grown up will get choked!!!

I so wanted to give Chen's a chance, since we moved from Texas we've been here probably 4 times, sadly each time it seems like the food is more bland, I love a good buffet, heck I might even love a decent buffet but there's not been a single dish I've had where I've thought "this is yummy" everything is below mediocre.

The young lady at the register was absolutely beautiful, it's too bad that she obviously hated her job so much that she couldn't hide it, her frown was almost a scowl. I hate the 21st century nobody wants to work and if they do work it's half a$$ed and they act like they are doing YOU a favor by waiting on you then they expect a 20% tip.

Oh and this afternoon we even had to put up with 4 fat old hens cackling about all the out of towners getting in their way and good heavens "going the wrong way around the buffet"
