Great people good food great hospitality they don’t deliver but I was watching my baby it’s cold outside and they delivered for me today wow I love good people Shout out to the owner and the whole team the barbecue shack

Had the dinner combo with two sides, okra and potato salad. My friend had the pulled sandwich with slaw on top, beans and chips. Will be back soon. Food was great!

Just picked up from there, slaw, potato salad, were okay, baked beans were better, the pork didn't seem to have a very strong smoke flavor and was a bit dry. Mostly their sauce seemed bitter, strong chili powder flavor. Service was excellent and the guy who waited on us was super nice. To be honest I like my sauce a bit sweeter, so part of this is on my personal taste.

We had the half smoked chicken and a chicken salad with sides of okra and french fries. Food was okay. Their fried okra is my favorite. I live my okra extra crispy and they are spot on!

Really good pork. Order the Hercules you can get slaw with it also really good sandwich Hercules sandwich.

this place is the definition of a place that may have been good 10-15 years ago, but it seems on the downhill slide.
My first trip I tried the rib tip dinner got two mac n cheese as sides. the texture of the meat seemed it had been cooked still frozen and not allowed to thaw. In turn, creating a tougher chewier meat, gotta let the meat thaw before cooking. even though chewy, the flavor was good, even though it was drowned in what I assume is home made sauce. The mac n cheese was a weird bright orange color, took one bite and it was sweet and not appealing. Basically, it is the cheapest pre made mac n cheese their food distributor provides, I would suggest avoiding it.

Second trip:
Half rack of ribs (meat only)
Ribs are the premier food item at any BBq place and it was exemplified at the Bar B Que Shack. While their rib tips were under par, their ribs are the reason for the 3 star. They were good meaty and made the way I like, 'dry', not smothered in sauce.

the sweet tea. do not add ice to the sweet tea container. it dilutes the sweet tea into not sweet tea.

Love the homemade fries. They're always fresh and served hot. Just wish you all were open on Saturday's, hard to get there during the week.
