Absolutely wonderful place, from the service to the drinks and to the quality of the food. All of my party had sushi and/or sushi rolls. We all ordered a hibachi dish: chicken, salmon, and shrimp-filet mignon. The wait staff, although busy, was attentive. We paid well over $100 for 3 people but we ordered a lot of food and drinks - it was worth it.

I spent a lot of years in Japan and moving to the Midwest made finding really good Japanese food tough. We vacationed in the area and stumbled upon this place but had to come back every day of our vacation because it was so good. Great sushi, great Tonkatsu Ramen, great experience. If we come back to the area we will certainly be back!

Great sushi, drinks, and fried wontons. Friendly service too. One thing to note, online says they are open till 9 o'clock on Sunday but we got there at 8:25pm and they told us they were closed. We had to come back the next night.

My wife and I make a point of visiting here every time we pass through. While it has been outstanding every time.

This time, however, our server was the best we've ever had there. If we could have afforded to tip her a Benjamin, we absolutely would have (we work retail). Whatever the case, Heather was extremely capable, personable, and an outright joy to be around. The other waitresses were also quite nice, and we enjoyed chatting with them as they worked as well.

We ate quite a lot of food, all of which was outstanding, let my wife get toasted as I had the plum wine (my favorite), and watched as the staff handled a heat injury like professionals.

All in all, we would highly recommend going here if you're in the area.

P.S. Give Heather 10 more dollars an hour, the woman is earning it and more.

We went for dinner tonight, taking into consideration that we were coming 30 mins before close, but still just ordered a Togo order. We decided to get the hibachi steak and shrimp and sushi, while the sushi was really good, the hibachi steak shrimp and rice were extremely below par. The shrimp was over cooked, tough, and fishy tasting. Then I call the store and the owner picks up the phone and is extremely rude and not understanding at all, and proceeded to accuse me of falsely complaining about the food. Also, he tells me that no one complains about his food and he feels that since it was my first time placing an order that I was lying. Also, he says that he overcooks the shrimp on purpose due to complaints of it being raw in the past ? No sense was made here what so ever and my experience was just agitating. The bill was also a little over $30, and I don’t know about you but with that price my food should be hot and satisfactory!!! I have my receipt, I purchased 1 streak and shrimp which was $26.95 and the California roll with was around $6.

Pretty good sushi for being so inland. Skip the crab mix, but Philly/aloha roll were winners.
