Great restaurant to eat! I ordered a garden burger & my fiancé ordered a grilled rueben sandwich. As a side, we both ordered onion rings and sweet potato fries. Kristen was our server and she was the best ????????

Highly recommend this restaurant

Visit and get yourself some purple ice cream. For adults they make some good Bloody Mary's and the Grasshopper is a good alternative. All the food was made with love. The wife hasn't raved over a meal in months. The kids ate up all their food so they could all have purple ice cream. Will visit any time we visit Hot Springs.

Overall, about 2.5 stars.....
To be honest, we were disappointed.

Here's the good:
1) Service - our server was awesome. Friendly and engaging, courteous and prompt. She was great!
2) Atmosphere - Very Clean, well lit, bright, colorful, with upbeat music (although a bit too loud)

The Not So Good:
1) The Food - The burgers were, at best, Mediocre. The hamburger patties reminded me of those frozen pre-made patties you get put of the freezer section at the grocery store - the taste and texture was just like those.
The "fresh cut chips" were OK, but they didn't seem that fresh and weren't real impressive.
The Onion Rings (part of the Rodeo Burger) were pretty Good.

2) The Prices - Pretty steep for the quality. $25 for the two of us (a burger each and one glass of sweet tea)

We were excited to try The Purple Cow,
But left feeling VERY disappointed.
Needless to say- won't be going back.

Everything we received was great! Loved the fried mushrooms and my club sandwich was OMG!!!
The service was great and she was on point of refills.

The only thing I can say is the wait time for shakes were little too long, but everything else was awesome????

The wife and I have been to both Purple Cows on Little Rock. On a little excursion to Hot Springs the other day we decided to see what was available to eat on the Yelp app. We were pleasantly surprised that Hot Springs had a Purple Cow. So we pulled up and sire enough it had that old diner feel. From the moment we got in the service was great. Once seated the waitress was very observant and helpful. We got our drinks and appetizers fast. Our food was served fresh and hot. We never had to flag our waitress down as she was always available but not over bearing. The wife and I ordered different burgers. Hers was the Supreme cheeseburger and mine was the Rodeo cheeseburger. Both burgers were piled high and good. Hers I think was better tasting as mine was a little dry but used some spicy mayo we received with our sampler plate (which had plenty on it). We both didn't eat much of our food because we wanted some dessert. And we got what the Purple Cow is famous for. We went for the shakes. I got the Elvis shake which is a vanilla shake with banana and peanut butter. It came out in your typical sundae glass and then they brought out the metal shaker which had almost a half of another shake. So you get plenty. The wife had oederre a Triple Chocolate Malt but sadly they were low on chocolate. So she got the Grasshopper. This is a month chocolate shake with some alcohol. Plenty of each too. ???? Overall the service and atmosphere was great. The food was pretty good but the fries were kind of subpar. But not enough to deopped the stars on this place. It was a little pricey but lately everyplace is. So if in the Hot Springs area check them out. I don't think you will be disappointed. It's worth it if you only want a shake. Hope you enjoy if you go.

French Philly Steak is a must try ????...

Special thank you to Sara at The Purple Cow Restaurant in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming establishment, and I must say, the experience was truly delightful. As I was dining alone, Sara's warm welcome and attentive service made me feel right at home.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the French Philly Steak. If you're a fan of both French cuisine and classic American flavors, this dish is an absolute must-try. The Purple Cow has truly mastered the art of combining the two, creating a culinary masterpiece that left me craving for more.

The French Philly Steak is a delectable twist on the traditional Philadelphia cheesesteak, infused with French flair. Tender slices of perfectly seasoned steak are sautéed with onions, peppers, and a medley of aromatic herbs, creating a symphony of flavors that dance on your palate. The addition of melted Swiss cheese adds a creamy richness that complements the savory meat and vegetables beautifully.

But what truly sets this dish apart is the bread. The Purple Cow takes it up a notch by using a fresh, crusty baguette instead of the usual hoagie roll. The combination of the crispy exterior and soft, pillowy interior adds an extra layer of texture and elevates the overall dining experience.

Each bite of the French Philly Steak was a delightful explosion of flavors. The steak was perfectly cooked to a juicy medium-rare, and the blend of spices infused it with a tantalizing aroma. The tender onions and peppers provided a subtle sweetness, while the melted Swiss cheese brought a creamy, tangy element to the dish. It was a harmonious marriage of ingredients that left me thoroughly satisfied.

To accompany my meal, I opted for a side of golden, crispy French fries, which were a perfect accompaniment to the steak. The portion size was generous, and the fries were cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Overall, my experience at The Purple Cow Restaurant was exceptional, thanks in large part to Sara's attentive service. The French Philly Steak was a true standout, showcasing the culinary prowess of the kitchen. I highly recommend visiting this delightful establishment and indulging in their culinary creations. Trust me; you won't be disappointed.

I had a fantastic experience at Purple Cow restaurant. My wife and I came here for dessert after dinner elsewhere, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. They surprised my wife with a birthday celebration, complete with an ice cream cake and a candle - she was thrilled! Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that their milk cocktails can be spiked with alcohol, adding a unique twist to the menu. To top it off, I tried their authentic Arkansas apple moonshine, which was absolutely awesome. The combination of great service, delicious treats, and unique drink options made our visit memorable. We'll definitely be back!
