This is a hidden gem, to be sure. I’ve lived in Helena for over a year before finding this place! It’s cool, quiet and low key, someplace adults can go without getting their senses bombarded with kiddie noise and bright lights and crayon colors. We go to fast food for that. My husband and I celebrated our 7th anniversary with their pork chop dinner, and it was perfect. The service was great too. We’ll be frequent diners here! There is a full service bar as well.

Really good food! Service was excellent and staff was so nice. Menu has a huge variety of items, and a full bar in addition to all the food.

Highly recommend and will drop by again if in the area!

***Their prices are updated for inflation, so the pricing on the menu pictured aren't correct (i.e. my chicken strip salad -which was AMAZING!!! - was $8.50 instead of the listed $7.50). Not a big deal, just don't take the pricing listed as set in stone.

I liked the place. It was my first time there, and I found the owner to be courteous. The hamburger was good and the fries were very close to the way I like them. I appreciate that the cook allowed me to add salt to my meal, instead of destroying the meal with too much sodium.
I may take my brother there for lunch before I head home.
Overall, it feels and looks like a neighborhood joint, and that's a good thing.

The Downtown Bar and Grill is a hidden gem. Located on Walnut Street in Helena, AR right behind Messina Real Estate/Messina's Wine and Spirits Shop.

The Downtown Bar and Grill has the best and largest menu in the area.

Fresh salads made to order. They have excellent crispy chicken salads and taco salads as well as various others.

The smell of fresh grilled burgers fill the air. Real beef cheeseburgers not the premade patties of fast food joints.

The loaded Philly Cheese Steaks are hands down the best.

They have many other menu items I can not wait to try. My friends and I love everything so far.

Fresh Veggies like okra, corn nuggets, beans anything you can imagine.

They keep a fully stocked bar with mixed drinks or beer available.

The staff are hometown down to earth folks working together using great flavor.

I have never waited more than 10-15 mins on a call in order.

I have never been let down by the taste.

They also do breakfast YES SIR starting at 7 a.m. so before work or after a long night at the casino drop by!

They have booths, tables, or you can sit at the bar.

Appropriate for families' night out to eat

You won't be disappointed

We had lunch here today. And the burgers are huge! Neither of us finished our burgers. The fries were so hit and crispy! We were also in a bind and they helped us find someone to help get our car unstuck from the mud sever miles north of the establishment. Thank you so much for the great service and food. And going above and beyond and helping us today. God Bless you all

Popular local spot. The bbq pork sandwich is huge, a bit over sauced but still delicious.

Loved the food. The owner was so kind to us out of Towner's. They are moving to a different location and we know it will be a hot as that BURGER. HMMHMM SO GOOD my husband went back for another for lunch the next day. I loved the egg rolls. Mexican style with cheese and beans. Yummo.

Great place! Food was fantastic and the people were friendly. Fried green tomatoes were the best. Went there twice while visiting Helena. Great sandwiches and salads! Everything was good and the place was really clean.
