What a cool little place! I finally got to stop in and try something to eat here. I got the Ruben sandwich and it was quite honestly the best I have ever had. Beside all the meat varieties, they have alot of seasoning for different meats, local honey, lots of jellies (even Muscatine), sides for your meals and a friendly staff! I can't wait to try more of their foods.

I moved here a year ago and I discovered Bretweizers a few months back. My husband and I got our entire Thanksgiving meal from here and it was delicious. It will be our new tradition. Recently, we have been buying their steaks. They are the best steaks ever. We don’t even bother going to a restaurant. Bretweizers has the best steaks and it’s a waste to buy them anywhere else, including restaurants. This is a great, family owned business and I can’t say enough about them.

They open up late.
They close up early.
I am setting here it's 10:34am it shows to open. But the door is ????.
Must be nice to able to go to work when you get ready to go. Think about the people who keep your lite on.

Since 1976 and probably hasn’t changed much. Great local dive in Benton with good food. We passed by and seeing the sign for Ruben’s and fresh sandwiches we had to stop and I am sure glad we did.

Great deli and sandwiches they smoke everything themselves . Family owned and very friendly. Good prices for a mom and pop type business.

Wife purchased brisket but was given beef bacon not brisket and charged $20 a lb for it. Never again.

Best smoked meat in town. You can't go wrong with any of their plate lunches! The sandwiches are the best in town! Smoked bologna and smoked cheddar is the route to go!

Way too overpriced! Last year Turkey's were $45-$50. Their wanting $75! Absolutely ridiculous. I will be following up with a after review. Straight price gouging
