This place looks like it could have potential, but honestly, we threw everything but 2 biscuits and a scone away . We were traveling through and picked up sausage gravy and biscuits for 4 and a blueberry scone,$36 wasted . The Gravy was so watery/oily and did not taste good at all, tasted only of oil and flour. None of our 4 could stomach it. The blueberry scone was, however, thankfully good. Also, other reviews show donuts, but they allegedly haven't sold donuts for years. It's also called Hobnob now.

Great food at very good prices. Enjoy the southern cooking and rustic clean ambience. The server is very polite and the entire staff is friendly and polite. Hamburgers are great and you can make to order. my daughter had the biscuits and gravy he and she enjoyed it. I had heard about their good biscuits and they were right the biscuits are very good. They have homemade donuts daily and a drive-through for your convenience. Give it a try I think you’ll enjoy it.

Friendly staff, great environment and awesome selection of foods and sweets!! Traveling from camp home to Tennessee and stopped to eat, will be back to try there lunch!

We really enjoyed this new restaurant! My grandparents eat here almost every Sunday. Good portions and nice decor. The preteens inn or family love the nostalgic counter eating (plus they can be "cool" and sit away from the family) :-) will definitely visit again!

Restaurant was squeaky clean delightfully decorated with 50's booths and stools. Portion sizes were a little small but tasty. Cheeseburger and Philly chicken sandwich. Onion rings were delicious, I recommended trying them. Servers were really nice and helpful. Prices were lower than expected in today's environment. Small town has four very good restaurants to choose from. Try each!

Very clean. Nice staff. Excellent food. Perfect iced tea.

So, why not give it five stars?

Portion sizes are just too small for an average man. If you pay twelve bucks, you shouldn't leave hungry. The meatloaf was excellent, but probably only about four ounces. They could have at least loaded the plate with more potatoes, bread, or beans to make up for that.

A guy at a table near me was having fried chicken. He remarked that the chicken leg looked more like the drumstick from a chicken wing.

If they would serve adequate portions, I'd be back.

Cute local cafe off the highway. Great donuts and breakfast biscuits. You kind of feel like family walking in.
