Food was excellent. The spaces available for seating were very well kept & almost felt private. It’s kind of a strange Z shaped restaurant, but it seems to works well. They were unfortunately out of printed menus for this visit, but told me they had ordered more. They have a rather large menu to choose from, so I did feel rushed as a first time visitor & made a selection before I was able to review the entire menu. I really just wanted to sit down, see what was available & then order. On the flip side of that, orders are taken quickly & brought to you quickly too. Great reusable cups. I will definitely be returning. I want to try more of their menu for sure.

This place was excellent. The food was delicious and very plentiful. The service was great as we didn't have to ask for anything. The server always had a smile. They had a very pleasant atmosphere & the restrooms were clean. Plenty of parking and just be prepared to take some food home with ya because they fill your plate up. Highly recommend. ENJOY!! ????✌️????

I was recommended this place and let me say it did not disappoint. The tenders and fries I had was very delicious. I will definitely come back to 1220 Cafe for more great food.

Went with a group for lunch. Sampled different appetizers and I think most of us had something different. We had shrimp and grits and a fried shrimp basket. Both were really good and everyone seemed to enjoy their lunch. That cranberry, white chocolate, pecan cookie was really good, too.

The food was good and the facility clean and nice. However, prices are drastically too high for what's on offer. Club sandwich, seasoned fries and drink was $21 and it still asked if you'd like to tip. At that rate, should be no problem paying the employees. Refills for soft drinks, another $3. For reference, a competitor, Huddle House, has free soda refills and for the price of the mentioned meal, you can get ribeye steak, Texas toast, and two sides (with the drink that has free refills). After all that, the price would still be under $20. Another option is several other competitors that do buffets, such as Golden Corral, etc. All would have prices for the high end meals at about $15. Golden Corral in Montgomery has been in business for years at that rate, has made a profit apparently, being able to pay plenty of employees and not go out of business. I'd say the prices currently listed at 1220 Cafe are just highway robbery.

Great food & atmosphere. Service was good considering how busy they were. I had the New Orleans burger, which has conechuh sausage and cheddar cheese. It was amazing. Also had the fried green tomatoes, which were perfect.

Thought I was getting the special Friday, fish and shrimp. But guess it was only fish. Fries and hush puppies great, fish was a little too greasy for me personally. The sweet tea was good also. Got each one of the cookies which we are still eating really good.

Restaurant nice, name catchy, food was a waste. Chicken salad had no seasoning, pasta salad bland.
The worst was when I was in the bathroom, there was someone in the other stall walking out when I did. I noticed it was an employee walking out, because of her uniform. SHE DID NOT WASH HER HANDS!!! WTH!!!
I was freaked out as I was washing mine. I was done. I had already paid for my food. I got my food and left, at that point I wanted to leave.
Never go8ng back!!
