Choose another place to eat! No consideration for allergies!

On our way to DeSoto Caverns, we asked some friends who are visiting Alabama to meet us at this particular Huddle House before going to the cave. The restaurant looks dirty, the floors weren't clean and the atmosphere is not welcoming. We walked in with a party of 7. No one greeted us or showed us where to sit. Since no one spoke to us, we found a seat at the back of the restaurant. My husband ordered something and clearly said he can't have bread or any flour. They brought his plate with bread on it. He repeated to the waitress that he can't have bread, he's allergic. The lady said, it's ok just take it off. He said no I can't have any of it. She replied in a hesitant tone, "ok I'll have them remake it". Well the food came back so quick we doubted they remade it. My husband left the restaurant and got sick. Surely there was evidence of flour in the food, the food was not remade. My vegetables were so salty, the hash browns were not thoroughly cooked.

Walked in at 8 and was told we couldn’t be served because they had no silverware and had a lot of stuff to do before they closed at 10!! We asked her why we couldn’t sit down and eat when we didn’t need silverware and she said she just wasn’t taking anyone else for the night , we walk out the restaurant and sat in the car to figure out what we wanted to eat and while we was sitting there a couple walked in and was able to sit down and get served, there was only 3 of us … do not recommend this place at all !!

This place has made such a turnaround! Very clean, great atmosphere, and although very busy the service was excellent. That new manager is doing it up right! Welcome back Huddle House Talladega!

The waitress was truly a joy! The cook should consider not smoking while at work! He went outside to smoke and I didn’t see him wash his hands after he came back inside. The food was delicious but the flies has to be a health hazardous issue. I spent more time swinging at flies so I didn’t eat. The menu choices were great!

Our server Paige was great, we had a special request and she listened and brought to. Food was great as well, We will definitely be back! Thank you for the great food!!!

The store was very clean! The restrooms had new clean toilets! The food was hot fast and fresh! I highly recommend coming here to visit. The servers are friendly and genuine

It took forever to even get served and it took an HOUR to get our food. When we did get our food all of it was burnt and barely editable. When we tried to to tell them about it they didn’t do anything and told us to pay and go. Highly don’t recommend this location.
