Awesome place! In 2012 we were at an anniversary in Trussville when we first got to try their wonderful BBQ. We've been loyal customers since. They were by Sanie Road at the time. I was so excited when they moved to a building by the old Dollar Family Butcher shop, just 3miles from where we live! And gotta mention they have great vegetables too. I love their black eyed peas.

First visit to Bowlings BBQ. My wife and I ordered the BBQ pork and chicken sandwiches. Food and service were excellent. If you haven’t tried it, I recommend it. Thank you.

Hometown atmosphere with food you grew up with if you lived in the country. Catfish and coleslaw are up there with the best in Alabama.

Breakfast: Service was good.
Eggs and grits good.
The worst biscuit ever, very dry! It was split which made it more dry.
The menu said country ham, but I received sugar cured or “city ham”. (The menu is misleading.)

Cheap delicious food! They had a great selection of items and everything I got was great! I got 2 orders of smoked ham, 2 orders of smoked turkey, 2 orders of macaroni, an order of collard greens, black eyed peas, and sweet potato casserole. Every item was hot, it only took 7 minutes to complete the order and it was just a little over $20! I gave a $10 tip and would say that it was still cheap. Friendly service and a clean restaurant. I have only been once, but it was an excellent experience.

I eat here several times a month. They have a wide selection of daily specials and some of the best wings around. A nice little restaurant in a small town. The food quality and service are very good.
