Very good! Hubs and I were in town doing business on a Monday and we wanted to eat local. It seemed everything was basically closed but the chains. We passed by JB’s and there were a ton of cars so we decided to pull in. Mind you, I am not a BBQ fan, but my husband is. I had the lunch special, hamburger steak, purple hull peas, macaroni salad, fried okra, cornbread and peach cobbler. My husband got a chopped pork plate with all the fixin’s. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. You won’t be disappointed.

Good food. Popular place... parking can be a bit if a situation, but lots of tables. Burger, chicken, onion rings are exceptional. Fries are handcut. Corn nuggets really good. As a nonlocal, i did not care for the pulled pork... probably a regional thing. Sauce is good. Sweet tea really good, coke products, big cups.

My food was cold. I didn't send it back, but should have. Food is not good, especially when cold. My brother did send his side of beans back, which was cold. We ate inside, but ordered a sandwich to go. When checking out, they acted as if they never heard of the sandwich to go, and the cashier was rude. We were the one of the first ones in. We got there as soon as they opened for lunch on a Friday. Our food should not have been cold, we shouldn't have to wait on a sandwich ordered ahead of time, and the cashier should not be rude. Our waitress was really nice, though. I didn't take time to take pics, because we were busy about getting our food corrected. I probably won't go back!

We ordered the sandwich combo and a side of beans. The food tasted good but the waitress quoted the price of beans at 75 cents. When we arrived at the register, the cashier charged $2.75. When we questioned this, she argued the price with us. When we refused to pay the amount, she suggested the price at McDonald's would cost more. (Of course, I don't eat at McDonald's for a reason) . After planning not to return, she agreed to fix it this time, but for us to know for the future what they will charge. Either the waitress and cashier need to be in agreement of the price or the cashier should learn a little respect for customer service.

Recently stopped by this restaurant to try the beef... Ordered 4 large sandwiches. After they got our money, they said they only had enough meat for 2 large sandwiches, which were 3 slices of small beef between two cheap buns. They offered pork for the other 2 sandwiches, which was terrible. They offered sodas, which we declined and gave us several bags of lays potato chips (which we don't eat and threw away). The BBQ sauce tasted like ketchup with a bunch of sugar and garlic... not impressed. Was really hoping this place had good food...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Friday evening was the first time dining in this restaurant and what was a big disappointment. My husband and I finally decided to venture out after moving up the this area. I actually told our waitress that it was our first time here, and she acted as if she really didn’t care at all. We finally ordered our food, I ordered the BBQ Plate, which was cold, barely warm, and my husband ordered the catfish plate it was over cooked, and the onion rings were a big cold mess all stuck together. What is so sad, after we received our food she never came back to our table to ask how was everything and if we needed anything. Sadly, we did leave a $5 tip, which we should not have done. We will not back! We should have went to McDonalds…

The pulled pork wasn't expected, the grilled chicken tenders were super dry. First horrible experience there, I'll give it another try on other foods. The friend orka and baked beans were good atleast.

Excellent pork BBQ, sides tasted homemade, service was quick and the waitress was friendly and helpful, this was our first visit. Our kids loved the fried chicken tenders and sweet tea.
