New China is a small take-out Chinese restaurant located almost directly across from the Pell City Public Library. I always enjoy New China above all other Chinese take-out restaurants. The cuisine is authentic Cantonese, which makes for exceptional quality. Although the variation and creativity of original dishes lacks, it does double down on quality and timeliness. I have never had a miss from this spot.
Orders that are not listed on the menu are available, but I haven't ordered anything off of the menu yet.

This restaurant has not let me down! I eat here at least 3-4 times a month. Prices are good, food very good and if you take the time the people are very nice (shout out to the young lady going to school taking your order). The food has always been hot, fresh and more than enough I always eat for 2 days. Thank You and don't forget to tip they deserve it and work hard!

I always order Seafood Delight or Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables with Vegetable Lo Mein Noodles and a Hot & Sour Soup. They have good food here and Vicky the Cashier is always nice to us.

This is a wonderful restaurant with very good Chinese food.

But there are some things that I would like to point out. I have two favorites with this place, Seafood Delight and Shrimp & Mixed Vegetables. I have been having to get the All Day Combo here lately since the meals that are together and it is cheaper. I normally switch it back and forth and get Seafood Delight and then Shrimp & Mixed Vegetables the next time, but Seafood Delight is always too high because it only lets you get one of it in a container. The Seafood Delight needs to be cheaper with better deals. Also, when I ordered the All Day Combo today, instead of an Egg Roll, I asked for a Hot & Sour Soup. The Hot & Sour Soup is what I always get anyway. But it is never in a little bitty bowl. I always get a medium sized bowl of it. This bowl today was no bigger than a fingernail. I really think there needs to be some price adjustments or better deals on some of the foods that I mentioned plus they need to give larger containers of the soup rather than small fingernail size containers. Fingernail size containers of soup does not go anywhere.

Always fresh, fast, staff is always friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place.

Staff was not friendly, no thank you, not even a goodbye when I called to ordered..just ok, click. Restaurant smelled like a nail salon when I walked in, not food, so I wasn't too surprised when my food tasted like it had chemicals in it..not sure if they're keeping cleaners near the food, spraying sanitizers too close to the food or what but it was bad, it went in the garbage. Not sure why this place has a good rating????

BEST CHINESE FOOD AROUND!!!!! I've been a loyal customer for more than 15, 20 years now. Their crab rangoon is AMAZING! Their house special lo mein is MY #1 FAVORITE! I've never ordered anything that wasn't fantastic! & in all my years of eating here I've never been disappointed! & the staff is always friendly, never rude! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND CHECKING THEM OUT!

I used to like this place. Over the past year, the food has really declined. I’ve noticed that whatever I order, I get something reused from another dish. I ordered chicken chow mein tonight, and there were zero noodles. It’s just boiled cabbage and onions with a little chicken. We ordered tonight specifically for noodle dishes. Very disappointed.
