Walmart Supercenter

On more than one occasion I have received damaged, bruised, rotten produce on my pick up order. Out of date spinach by 4 days when I picked up my order. It was on the shelf 4 days expired. Falls on the produce manager and produce employee LS not rotating stock and caring about a product. It takes 5 extra seconds to look at a date on a product for a consumer with a pick up order. Fruit flies flying around their apples, growth on their strawberries. Had to throw the whole pack away in my order. All I ask is 5 seconds to check your rotten products. You could severely harm someone with these lack practices.

Tried pickup again. Disappointed, again. The cans we received looks like someone kicked them down a sidewalk and beat the can with a walking stick. Tea water flavoring for individual bottles was somehow the equivalent to pitcher sized flavor packets. Toaster strudel box looks like a goat gnawed the corner off. Absolutely the worst Walmart out of the 3 different states I have lived in.

They struck again. Picked up another order, reluctantly. Apple juice looks like they had a hippo sit on it. The strawberries were fuzzy. Do they even care what they give people? Are they THAT lazy that they cannot pick something undamaged or without growth to give to their customer? Is that too much to ask?

Added two new photos. Ordered produce. Strawberries were, again, growing mold and mush. Watermelon was already releasing water and breaking down. Also mush. Celery looks like it was ran o er by a buggy. Who is the manager and do they even care? I will stick to something, anywhere else for anything produce. It’s sad and shows the lack in attention to any detail that may exist in minute fractions.

False Advertising and Unprofessional Night Manager

On Monday night the day after Easter at 9:30PM CST my wife and I decided to stop by this Walmart #5262 for some items. As we were walking into the store we noticed an entire aisle dedicated to Easter clearance items consisting of all kinds of Easter candies, decorations, small and large children’s books, baskets, finger painting items, etc advertised above the entire aisle as 50% off all Easter items. We decided to get some of the candies and a few of the books for Easter baskets for our little boy and we’re excited to have some books for him for his first Easter. Many of our friends did Easter baskets for their young children and we did not but we were excited to find the discounted basket stuffers for him. When we went to check out everything rang up correctly except the children’s books and they each rang up at the pre-discount $9.98 price. The cashier told us customer service would have to handle the price difference. Initially I did not want to take the time to deal with it and just wanted to get our son home to bed so we said we would come back and get the clearance books later, but on the way out my wife reminded me the clearance items are usually sold within a few days of any holidays so my wife went ahead and took our little boy out to the car and I went back to the clearance aisle and took a photo of the display and asked the two guys stocking the shelves if the books were included in the Easter clearance. They said those boxes of books were included in the list of Easter items to put on the clearance shelf so they must be part of the 50% off on the sheet. After speaking with them and taking a photo of the stocked clearance shelves I went to customer service to purchase the books at the advertised discounted price. When the lady at customer service (for anonymity we’ll call her Alice) rang up the books and looked at the photo she was about to sell them to me at the discounted price accordingly, but when her manager (for anonymity we’ll call him Darryl) turned his attention to us he very rudely said they would not be honoring the discount because they were not part of the Easter items even though they were branded with the Easter colors and stocked with all the Easter clearance items and were specifically for the Easter baskets. After showing the photo and explaining his associate already said she would give me the discount as needed he said he was her manager and he would do whatever he told her and began to walk away. After he said that “Alice” spoke up quietly and said she could do the discount on just one book. “Darryl” quickly whipped around and grabbed her arm in a way that HR would likely be interested to see, (because no manager should ever be touching a subordinate in that way) and said that they would not be selling ANY books at the discounted rate advertised. I tried to ignore the major HR violation that happened before me and explained that they stocked an item at an advertised clearance price and I as the consumer wanted to pay the advertised rate for the books for my little boy and had now spent all that time dealing with a debacle they claimed was a stocking “mistake” and “Darryl” continued to get ruder and would not budge at all. Sam Walton would be extremely disappointed to see the kind of management this Walmart store #5262 decides to employ.

Wednesday evening at 6:30pm, there is only 1 aisle open where there is a cashier. The self checkout is open, but who wants to work for free at Walmart after working their primary job?!?! The self checkout area and this 1 aisle are all full to where the lines of customers are in the clothing section! Please hire more cashiers and pay them a living wage.

None of the employees are friendly or helpful and the employees filling orders will run over you with their carts. Shelves are not restocked and price cards on the shelves are incorrect pricing.

Well-maintained great customer service, a great place to shop

I was surprised by how clean and well staffed this store was. This is a large Supercenter. The store is well stocked with a wide offering of products. It has been a year or so since I have been in a Walmart of this quality. The aisles were clear, clean, and uncluttered. The staff was friendly, polite, and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasure to shop here. The management of the stores in Dekalb and Jackson counties ought to visit here to see how nice Walmart can be.

Come to pickup a order called for 10 minutes no answer left voice-mail. Three other vehicles pulled up got their orders before I was ever greeted.Poor quality service!!

There is a lady that I believe to be the manager, her name is Mary. That is the rudest person I have ever seen in my life. The way she talks to the cashiers is disrespectful. I can’t believe Walmart allows that kind of behavior. Reading other reviews this isn’t the first time this lady has had a complaint made.
