Our server, Lynn, was the best thing about the experience. They didn't have most of the things we ordered from the menu and the substitutes were not good. The spare ribs were extremely tough and the baked potato was dry. The meat on the baked potato (pork) did not have a good taste and everything was priced at such a cost you would expect it all to be exceptionally good.

The line waiting to give their order was all the way out the door. They had one guy putting the orders in and every time we told him what we wanted he had to go to the back to see if they had it.

We have eaten at several other locations and we're well pleased with the food and service. Hopefully this was a 1 time thing for this location and the rest of the time it's as good as the others we have visited.

Amazing food, extremely quick greet & food to table. However service was subpar once I was at the table. There should be a better tipping option because I gave $10 at the beginning for just me, then didnt see a server to ask for more sauces and a to go box until I finally got up and went to the bartender. However, my food was absolutely amazing. I even took a dozen muffins home to the fam for a special treat.

To start, the service was shaky initially, but the manager on Tuesday night made it right.

We ordered two large family meals online, one brisket, one ribs. Both options were not available. The manager was informed by a staff member that they attempted to call my phone. Not the case. I had no missed call. We drove down and they replaced the items with other options and the manager gave us a gift card as a courtesy. That was awesome.

With that being said, we got pulled pork and shredded chicken as the replacement options. I attached a photo of the options. This is not pulled pork and not chopped chicken.

Found this Oxford location on maps while on the way back to SC. I couldn't have picked a better place to stop!! Having never eaten at Jim 'N Nick's, the employee at the counter was very helpful with suggestions. We found a table and quickly received our food. Kaitlyn (hopefully spelled correctly) was fantastic. Told us the history of the restaurant and about different locations. Brought us samples of all the different sauces and some whipped butter for the rolls. She was truly a delight.
Ok.. the FOOD... it was awesome! I'm normally disappointed with my random restaurant choices. Not this time! We ordered 1 plate of pulled pork and marbled brisket with baked beans/mac n cheese and 1 plate of pulled pork and ribs with Mac n cheese and Barbecue corn on the cob.
All the meat had a fantastic smokey flavor. The brisket could be cut with a fork. The pulled pork was great! The sides were good.. especially those baked beans!!
The portions were huge!
As a generally picky person, this was an all around GREAT experience and we will definitely find a Jim 'N Nick's on our next vacation!

When I first started eating here, the food and service was great. Over time, it seems as if staff has become lazy and not willing to make sure that food is correct. Today, I ordered the chopped southern salad with smoked chicken and the house dressing. I was instead given fried chicken and bbq sauce for the dressing. This is the second time this has occurred with the same staff member taking orders at the window. I won’t be back ever because it’s frustrating that no one checks to make sure orders are correct.

Usually I’m pretty happy. However today, they sort of let me down. No one came to curbside after I check in. I came inside to the to go area and wasn’t assisted. I finally just went to the shelf and found my bag (there were only two at the time). This resulted in cold fries. I just didn't see how I can tip curbside if I have to get it myself. Also, please watch the sauces. I was given ranch when i requested Morgan co white sauce. I despise ranch and was thankful I didn't pour it all over my smoked wings. luckily, I had a leftover one in the fridge and I took a photo to compare.

Total joke. My "lean" brisket sandwich had as much fat as meat...which was hardly any. 3 puny slices a quarter inch "thick" about 3 1/2 inches long and dried out. No salt and pepper shakers on any table, no sauce, no ketchup! My niece ordered onion rings ( she got 4) and wanted ketchup. I had to get up and search for someone who worked there and the poor, overwhelmed girl said "I'll have to go in the back and see if I can find any". Ridiculous! Overpriced and disappointing. There is no way I'll ever visit this location again. Avoid.

My expectations were for the Oxford location to be somewhat similar to the Hiram Ga location and let me tell you it absolutely is not and in the worst ways. The Mac and cheese is not good, taste salty and the muffins were burnt. The ribs were dry and had a weird taste and bad texture. I’m sorry but this place is not good.
