What a great, local grocery store!! We hit the jackpot with this place. Sale on (amazing) ruby red shrimp brought us in. The shrimp were excellent but the store was packed with so much more from sauces and spices to an incredibly stocked deli. Super friendly workers as well.

We visited this Rouses while on vacation. It is nice, clean and organized. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We ate off of the hot bar for lunch. The red beans & rice and sausage were very good, and a great deal for the price. The salad bar was also well stocked and everything fresh.

What a place! The deli was well stocked as well as the bakery, gourmet cheese, meat department, well the whole store was well stocked. Nice clean wide aisles, friendly staff, and fair pricing. The beer and wine selection would rival any liquor store with the labels, brands and selection available. The cotton candy and gourmet popcorn were delicious. The Tuesday special on the sushi was a bargain also. I wish I could have picked Rouses up and brought it back to Tennessee with me. The in store made sausages were a hit with our whole group. We brought some back and now we are sad that we have no more. The Taco flavor was my favorite. Truly a wonderful shopping experience.

Great local market. Huge selection of beer! We got lucky and found royal red shrimp available in July. The Cajun house brand sausage was also a big hit with our family. Prices weren’t any better or worse than other markets. Friendly and helpful staff. It’s always fun to compare products in a new region of the country.

Horrible service. Waited at the deli for seafood salad. No one would wait on us. Had to find someone to wait on us. Then they took our order and left to the back room. And there were 6 people working and they just ignored us.
No can I help you or anything. Then acted as if we were a bother to them.
This was at the Orange Beach store. The Gulf Shores is much better than the Orange Beach store as far as customer service.

I think they do a great job for us visitors.
Selection is incredible service at the register is quick, the cooked food was delicious and the beach gear is so much cheaper than the souvenir stors.
Thank you Rouses for a pleasant experience.

Really good bakery, deli and meat departments. Pretty high prices but no worse than Publix. Lots of good Cajun/Louisiana products that you won't find anywhere else in town. If there is one complaint about this store, it is that the prepackaged meats aren't always the freshest. I've also had an instance where bakery people didn't change their gloves after cleaning equipment before handling a customer's food.

We get all our groceries at rouses in orange beach. Today we go to check out (with $400 worth of groceries) and I've never had such a bad experience checking out here before. The cashier had the worst attitude and was actually MEAN. We are locals here and never receive this service but after today might have to change where we get our groceries. Very sad.
