The portions are very generous and delicious too. I rarely have to get a to go tray but I did at this place. They also include many sides with the meal like kimchi and some other stuff (I'm not sure what it is called) but everything was incredible. The fried chicken was very crunchy and tender.

Chicken wings were spicy as hell bit SO damn good. Had the fried milk balls for dessert and they were delicious. Great service. They even had a legitimate baby changing station (like the kind you put in your home) in the woman's room. Really helpful since I had to change my infant while I was there. Will definitely return.

How am I just now writing my first review on Chickchickporkpork?!

We moved here this past December and when we decided to try this Korean joint, o m g, we fell in love and have been back regularly (as you can tell by all of the photos)

When I say this restaurant takes me back to my days in Korea, it 100% does

I’m going to keep this review short and sweet or at least try to.

The inside of the restaurant is clean. Every time I went, it was pretty busy minus one time when I went during lunch.

The service is amazing. I think the owner or the manager there is very attentive. Like if you look like you’re looking for assistance or look annoyed that you’re waiting a while, he will check on you and your needs

It’s customer service like this that makes me want to throw my money at a restaurant (and of course because of their amazing food).

My top recommendations are:

1) Yangyum chicken which is basically spicy fried chicken that comes with some cubed pickles

2) Dokpokee spicy rice cake that comes w a boiled egg, it’s so good

3) Tonkatsu for those that don’t like spicy food, it’s fried pork with a special sauce, with rice and a side of cabbage salad

I’ve also had the bulgogi, japchae, and seafood soup which were all very good. But I keep coming back for the 3 recommendations

Im very much a beginner when it comes to Korean food, especially authentic Korean food, however i fell in love with this restaurant on my first visit. The servers were polite and straight to business (im socially awkward so i very much appreciated that) they were quick to seat us and immediately served us water, which i also quite liked, handed out menues, and explained each table has a small call button that you can press when youre ready to order or need assistance which was super helpful. I will say due to my being unused to that type of food, i was very nervous about making an order, but i tried the takoyaki they have, and just loved it! While i have never had it before i know ill forever compare any order of them i get to this place. Absolutely fantastic tasting, definitely reccomend for anyone who likes seafood/fishy flavors. Unfortunately i dont remember the name of the main course, it was a fried chicken dish with a garlic type sauce and sesame seeds/peanuts crushed on top. It was heavenly, fried perfectly crisp and the sauce had a sweet rich flavor. I look forward to going back and hopefully learning more about the foods served, so i can explore all the unique and undoubtedly great foods on their menu. 10/10, will absolutely be dining there again and reccomending to everyone i know!! ????????

12/29/22 update: only had time for a quick visit before their break at 2pm, ordered the takoyaki again and honestly think it was even better than the last time. The server was polite and the restaurant was clean. Absolutely loving the consistency in the visits so far. Once again 10/10♡

One of the best restaurants in Auburn-Opelika from my view! The food was absolutely fabulous & we plan to return. Excellent flavor, came out hot, and great portions. Such a huge menu too!a

THE Korean joint! Everything on the menu is amazing. I’ve eaten here 6 times now. Couldn’t get a before picture, but here are some pics of what was left after the massacre. Shin Pon wings (very spicy, but so delicious) and charbroiled pork. All of the side dishes are great too! Food is fresh, never too oily and the seafood soup is wonderful to drink on the side. This place will not disappoint.

How lucky is Opelika to have an amazing Korean Fried Chicken place?! This is another favorite spot to bring family and guests. They do offer lunch specials which can easily be split between two hungry kids (we love the noodle-noodle). We always get a basket of chicken and the potato wedge basket. It may seem pricey but it is literally a whole chicken cut up in easy to eat pieces and we always have leftovers. The chicken baskets come with kimchis. My favorite is the Su Won Kalbi Chicken. Yangyang chicken is a close second! The potato wedges have a sweet and savory seasoning on them that I just love with their yumyum sauce. If you are a Kdrama junkie like me and have always wanted to try the foods you see on tv, stop by this place because they most likely have it on the menu.

Really awesome Korean place. The bento boxes are just the right sampler of everything, I love them. Also the yangyum chicken is a hit here... it's really good.
