No frills restaurant for seriously good Italian dishes and sandwiches. It's all about the food as the decor and furniture has probably never been updated. I'm not a fan of going out for pasta, but this place is one of my exceptions. The Philly Cheese steak sandwich was good then I picked at my daughter's baked ziti until it was gone. My son in law knocked down his Spaghetti and Meatballs. They were also good about custom making my wife's sandwich. Simple, hearty, and delicious.

The food was a bit disappointing. I got the lasagna that I usually love but this time it had a quarter inch slab of cheese and very little sauce. I saved it, removed the cheese and added sauce and it was delicious. No complaints about the salad or bread which was delicious. I will try again.

The lasagna is great, the salad “Mr G’s Special Salad” is really good. I just tried the wings for the first time and I’m not impressed at all!!! Asked for “hot” and there is really no sauce on them at all! They are over fried and small! For $6.75 for 6 wings you should be getting a great product but not in this case. Really good food at this place (steer away from the wings) and have been going there for 20yrs now and this is the first time I was disappointed.

Ordered lunch to take back to the office and was given the wrong order (I got the beef cannelloni and they gave me shrimp fettucine). I called for a refund and am going to have to make a trip back to give them the food back in order to get the refund. So now I'm out of money AND food until I can get back.

I call it cafeteria Italian. You get all the staples, but nothing flashy. The wait staff are friendly and helpful. If you need food in a hurry that's tasty, it's a good place. Not a "take your date out for Italian" dinner place, though. More, take your mom out for dinner...

They apparently hate take out orders. I see all the good reviews, but any time I ordered from this place its been awful. I have never eaten in person, but guessing thats the only way to get good food from this place.

Got the wrong take out order. Made it home and was opening the containers when I received a call saying I was given the wrong order. No apology, no offer to have correct order delivered or refund the cost of the correct order. Went back to pick up the correct order. I had the incorrect order I my hand saying we had opened the containers. She took the incorrect food and threw it in the trash. I asked to keep the incorrect order and was told no as the other customer had paid for it. I said surely you are not going to give the customer that food. She responded no, but the other person had paid for it. No apology, no discount, no recognition at all that an error was made. Food was good but customer service left a lot to be desired. I understand and appreciate hiring young in age staff and hopefully this review will provide an opportunity for further training.

It was a busy Sunday, and we had a larger group, but food and service were still great. The group ordered a variety of food, and there were no complaints. Everything was as expected. Good portions, food was fresh and hot. We had tried Mr. G's a few years back and had not been too impressed. Glad we gave them another try - we will return!
