I did not know this Publix store existed until a neighbor told us about it.

On a Sunday morning at 8 AM, while searching for a newspaper, I drove down Bailey Cove road in the rain to see if the store was actually somewhere on Bailey Cove. It is there—at the corner of Mountain Gap Road.

The store was a pleasant experience. I usually go to a Publix store for groceries. 8 AM on a Sunday is unusual but it turns out to be a great time to go.

There were no lines at the cash register. The store was fully stocked. I realize it had been here a while but it was so neat, clean, well lit and empty at that time it was a surreal experience. I saw one other customer, bought Cherry Zero Coke on sale along with the paper—in and out of the store in about 10 minutes.

The parking lot was large, no trash anywhere and the carts all in place outside the store. Getting in and out of the parking lot was easy.

The employees were all very friendly and offered a greeting. No doubt, Publix may be more expensive than some of the big box stores but the atmosphere is more pleasant and cheerful. They also carry products that are sometimes hard to find in some of the less expensive stores.

This store is a mile or more further away than other options but worth the trip!

I use this Publix for all of my grocery shopping and I have always had a pleasant, fast experience. Their staff is friendly and helpful, Haley at customer service assisted me in canceling my grocery order and getting me set up for a pickup the next day. Always a great experience with everyone I have encountered.

I shopped at this Publix for many years and enjoyed doing it. The latest experience was not very good as far as customer service.
I will likely look for other options.

Local neighborhood Publix with all the typical amenities.

Biggest gripes:
-deli is slow and do not pay attention to online orders!
-fresh food section is small and selection is not the best
-parking lot is a bit cramped
-no self checkout!!!!

This location desperately needs a remodel to expand the fresh food selection and add a self checkout.

I like to shop at 3 different Publix in South HSV; but this store goes above and beyond! I have placed special orders for items several times and the staff is always helpful and gives me accurate information. Yesterday Nancy Smith the Assistant Grocery Manager found my items back in the freezer area quickly and with enthusiasm! I appreciate this store so much; it is always clean and well stocked! Thanks Nancy and the rest of the staff!

Always a good experience, never short on the essentials. Never a disgruntled cashier or bagger experience. Had a stocker walk all over the store just to find an item for me. Customer experience is always on top.

Best Publix in Huntsville!! Always good stock, always happy and professional attitudes. Hands down worth every extra mile it takes to not have to shop at any of the others. Especially the new parkway location where all the managers stand around and chat while letting their employees stress out with long lines because the managers refuse to open more than one checkout lane.

So go to the Bailey cove store they care!!!

For a Publix surprisingly well stocked and quiet. Even the middle of the weekend it's quiet and slowly there. Absolutely enjoyable to shop at.
