The store is always clean and the staff is more than friendly. If you ask for an item is they will not just point and say over there they will actually take you down the aisle to the item that you asked for. Their Bakery has always been 100% excellent I have never been disappointed. And their Fried Chicken I actually nicknamed it cracked chicken because it's addictive

Nice, friendly, and clean. If you had more than one checkout open, you would have 5 stars. Self check out for a full buggy isn't....

I have been shopping at this Public since it opened, but I'm reconsidering that decision. Customer Service has gone downhill. If you say something to a manager about a problem, they make it right, but you shouldn't have to speak to a manager for that. It should be right the first time. Surly employees are a problem here. Some cashiers are very nice and some act like they would rather be anyplace else on the planet.

Had a bad experience today at a grocery store usually known for superb customer service. I paid for my sandwich and fruit at the self checkout, and after seeing my payment was accepted I left the store, only to be approached by a friendly associate that accused me of stealing, which I was wrongly accused of. I went to the customer service desk where I had to pay $12 once again for something I already paid for. This Publix dishonestly got another $12 from me — a $12 I wasn’t certain I had left. I wouldn’t come back to shop here after this, and I’m glad I live some ways away. An embarrassing experience I do not want to repeat, and I honestly feel like I have need robbed.

Publix is always great! We discovered Publix when we lived in Florida in the early 90's. We moved back to Birmingham in 1995 and were thrilled to find they were coming to Alabama. They have not disappointed since!

Im from TX visiting for a while and came to this store and it blew me away. Very clean and had a great selection and wasnt too pricey either but my favorite was their DELI!! they had some awesome original veggie salad, and rotisserie chicken was on point, and some asparagus with some great tasting sauce on it. Im goin back as soon as I get paid.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but went to Publix and they only had 1 normal lane open and of course it had a long line. They had 10+ plus employees in the front and only have 1 lane open for people who are actually buying a lot of groceries and don’t want to through the self checkout. Good customer service went out the window with these self checkouts.

We love the convenience of our neighborhood Publix. They have a good variety and selection of groceries. The workers are always friendly and helpful. BOGO deals are always great too!
