After passing this location dozens of times over the past couple of years, decided to stop in looking forward to a great BBQ meal, however, expectations far exceeded reality. Customer service is very friendly and meal arrived in a timely manner.

My meal was the BBQ Platter ($12) with 2 sides: Baked Beans and Mac & Cheese (+1). Sad to say NO Brunswick Stew here (minus 1 star). The pork was smokey and tender, and the BBQ sauce was tasty. The beans: looked and tasted like canned Bush beans. Nothing special by any means. The mac & cheese was terrible: tasteless and watery (minus 1 star). I added BBQ sauce to give it some flavor. SKIP THE SIDES - Just order the sandwich.

Partner's meal was the 1/4 rack of baby back ribs with 2 sides ($13). View photo to visualize how 1/2 the ribs were served: burnt beyond edible (minus 1 star), which was too bad because the remaining 2 ribs weren't too bad, but would not order again.

Might stop in sometime in the future to try the brisket but if in the mood for ribs will stop at the rib Shack down the road next time.

I've been buying the BBQ Pork from here for several years now and it's always very good.. I usually get the family pack.. either 1lb or 2lb depending on how many people will be eating.. all the sides are good too.. highly recommend this restaurant.. delicious.

Food was good but I don't like my barbecue drowned in barbecue sauce !!! Sorry not trying to make a bad review!! It was really good but I will go back but I will make sure I tell them leave the sauce off my potato!!! Really nice atmosphere good people, good food just my preference!!! Thank yall !!!

Driving by, it looks like a roadside dive. We stopped and went into one of the cleanest, most open restaurants I've ever visited.

You order at the counter from a varied menu
We got loaded potatoes. They're huge and full of flavor!

The staff is very friendly, as well. If you're anywhere near Henager, Alabama, you need to stop here.

Great food! The brisket was so flavorful, it didn't even need sauce! My husband had the BBQ baked potato and loved it. Definitely take a trip over to check them out. The staff was friendly and so helpful! The building and restroom were absolutely pristine. Highly recommend!!

Good quality barbecue. They will top it off with slaw. If you like, it’s really good! Also had the pecan pie. That may be the best pecan pie I’ve ever had! Beyond good, it was awesome!

Paid over $30 for 3 loaded potatoes. 2 didn't have sour cream. 1 didn't have sauce. And we didn't get the ranch we asked for. We called next day to speak with manager and even though all 3 people were unhappy they were only willing to make up 1 "loaded" potatoe.

The ribs were good . The Brisket was good, but the portion was very small. The baked beans were plain. So, food was okay, but the atmosphere was not conducive to a quiet meal setting. People were talking loudly and the sounds echoed.
