Some of the very best fried chicken I think I've ever put in my mouth. The second plate of chicken was even better especially when I could go back to the third. Because it's all you can eat. The chocolate pudding was delicious and I'm so full I can't even walk. I just wish they had some brown gravy with a great tasted mashed potatoes and cream corn green beans and Peach cobbler. It sure was good I was able to sit down real soon. Service is great sweet tea is out of this world. It would be nice if they had squeezed lemons but they have packets.

Very Fine Dining Experience at Poseys. This evening. I am so delighted with our experience in this fine dining, cozy establishment that is very clean.
Nice contemporary 70s style Classics played softly not too loud. My husband and I both enjoyed the fried chicken. It was out of this world. We had very pleasant waitress who was just soft, but well spoken. This was wonderful treat. Glad we came for there buffet. We will definitely be back again.
I look forward ✌ to trying there other specials.

Great place to go for those who are challenged in operating a can opener. If you are able to microwave canned veggies, stay home and save your money. From unseasoned beans to soupy mashed potatoes, I don't understand why anyone would even slow down for this place. The staff was extremely friendly, so at least they have that going for them. But the reason the food here is advertised as "home cooking" is because it IS the type of food you would cook at home! Other than the scrumptious peach cobbler, Posey's has nothing else to offer. Probably a one-off incident, but my friend got the chicken sandwich a la carte. Big mistake. The chicken finally came out of the kitchen 20 minutes after ordering, had a nice pink middle, and the manager explained that cooked chicken is often pink inside. Uh-huh, right. A side of diarrhea coming right up. Bottom line, if you can't cook, head on down to Posey's. If you can toast a grilled cheese sandwich, stay home.

This place needs its own traffic light out front. It needs it to make sure everyone can get in and out safely, it’s so packed. We walked up an hour and a half before they closed, wondering why they closed so early. We had driven from New Market. We walked in and saw how small the buffet was. As we sat down we wondered how it was gonna be. We got our plates, sat down, and took our first bite. You know how your eyes roll back from how good the food is? That’s what happened here. We loved every bite. Though this wasn’t a huge buffet it made a huge impact. They can close at the time they do. I would understand the staff beating people from the door at closing time. I see why it’s so packed, they still do need their own street light because I believe people are fighting to get there on time. Due to the food being so darn good. Slap yourself good. We got 2 plates, a coffee which was also delicious, and 2 drinks that came out to $31.50. It was worth every penny! The staff was friendly, even though it was busy we didn’t wait for a thing. This was our first visit, it won’t be our last. I told everyone how good it was! Completely worth the drive, the price, service, and taste!

The food was AWFUL. did not take pic, the food was cold, not presentable at all, The drink machine was broken, only had Tea. The chairs are so old, they have food spots all on them. You have to reach over the food to get other food. The person bringing food out he kept putting fresh food on top of old food. But still cold. The man was cleaning the salad area put the salad back in the salad bowl, after falling on the outside of the bowl. It was awful. The only thing was good was the hospitality.. never going back, that was the second experience..

This was our first time at this restaurant. When we first walked in we got a "there's a whole lot of strict rules here" vibe. But once we were seated and our waiter came to our table, the atmosphere became very friendly and quite the opposite. We will be back!

Had an enjoyable meal from the buffet. Fairly good variety. Hours open are a little crazy because they are only open for brunch. Still I do recommend them.

Excellent food, great menu, and comfortable area to dine in. Plenty of choices on the menu. I've had the ribeye steak, the buffet, and two different desserts, all were good flavor and properly cooked. I will try to go every week, it's that good.
