Last visit food was great but service was quite honestly the worst that we've had ever at this particular Huddle House.

From the moment I entered, this restaurant enchanted me. The manager's professionalism and warm hospitality set the tone for an outstanding experience. We love the huddle house. The service is good and the male cook who is there, I believe his name is Allen, tries his very best to get everything perfect and it's very evident to the customers. I apologize if that is not his name but we really appreciate him. Breakfast is always good and tasty in our opinion beats any Waffle House or most of the time Denny's.

We hadn't been there in a couple years, so decided to try again.

I ordered a pick-up order online. Paid for it.

My husband goes to pick it up. Gives them my name. They ask him to pay for it. He tells them it's already been paid for. They argue with him then ask him, "Are you sure you're (insert my name)? We've had problems with people stealing food."
He says, "It's my wife!"

Then he gets home with the food...
Bacon is both burnt black AND raw (not sure how that's physically possible).
Waffle looks like it's already been chewed. Literally. Didn't even resemble a waffle and is wadded up into a ball.
Eggs were supposed to be over medium and one was cooked hard and crispy...other the white was still raw.
Hashbrowns were burnt on the outside and cold in the middle.
They put the biscuits and gravy in the bag sideways and it leaked out all over everything.
They left out part of our order.

It's so sad that we can't have a decent experience even when we do a pick up order that's prepaid.
Nothing but attitude, accusing someone of lying and stealing, and burnt/raw mess of food.

We tried again after years of not going and we live just up the street. We won't be back.

They NEVER NEVER answer the phone so to place a to go order you have to physically go there. They always say it's because they're busy but I can look out my window and only see 2 cars in the parking lot. If the staff can't handle 2 cars of customers then the Huddle House needs new staff. The food is always messed up when you get it, and the place is always unclean. When we 1st moved to Hartselle 10 yrs ago we ate here at least 3 times a day now I'm usually good if I eat something from there 1 time a month. Noone cares about their work ethics over there anymore.

???? The cleanliness of this place is horrible! The server (very nice) had to go to the back every time they got an order so the cook would come cook.
The cook came out with gloves from the back to cook on the line. The assistant cook NEVER put a glove on! I also did not see one person wash there hands????The door to the back of the house (along with all the other stainless steal appliances) look like they haven’t been wiped down since the place opened… Just go elsewhere… sincerely your fellow serve safe certified friend

Waitress was not very attentative , and I was the only customer. Food was good , but prices are too high compared to other similar restaurants. I've gotten more for less at a competitor. They still have China bug partitions up , and they look very tacky. They definitely take away from the atmosphere.
