Everything was excellent! I'm sorry we didn't try this place before now. They are closing July 3, 2022. Update!! Family came together and kept it open. We will definitely be making another trip!

Awesome little country cooking style restaurant. This was my first visit and I was not disappointed. Fried chicken, Salisbury steak, pulled pork, and chick livers were on the buffet today. The fried chicken was crunchy and juicy at the same time! There were multiple vegetable choices, with my favorite being the creamed corn. I was able to chase down my meal with a fresh piece of chocolate meringue pie (all the pies were on display in an actual antique pie safe). Great meal and experience...highly recommend.

Whomever runs the kitchen or is responsible for the food deserves an award! Absolutely amazing! Full buffet with all of the most delicious comfort food you could imagine. It was like stepping back in time. From the old school atmosphere, to the locals dining, it is a hidden treasure that is a must visit.

The food was flawless. Imagine the best home cooked meal you have ever had and just know this will be better.

Rode my motorcycle 3 hours to get here. Great little spot to eat. The staff was very nice, helpful and funny. We had a wonderful visit. Staff even photobombed us! Tasty food, real home cooking. And the pie safe they had was stocked full of homemade pies! Delicious!

All you can eat Southern favorites and a few things I've never tried before. Not a fan of butter beans at all but theirs were really good. Tried rutabaga for the first time and wasn't too impressed.

The best food I have had in Alabama yet hands down. Was traveling the back roads and found this hidden gem. Will definitely go back time and time again lol

In the original schoolhouse of 1910, you’ll find the most amazing buffet. It’s filled with your favorite meat and veggies! Worth the drive!
