Sherresa Woods to answer your question about the contact because im sure they’re not gonna give you a straight up answer because thats how the place is.. but anyways i lived there for a couple years & you have to be there for a year or months (depends on the reason the child is there, some children are court ordered others are sent by family members) if its not court ordered its up to the house parent to see how you’re doing and then you get MONITORED weekend call time, i had to wait about a year of being there just to have any type of contact with my family also no phones allowed & if you do have one it gets searched constantly or completely taken away even tho its 2023 but also they’re very discriminatory against women, you cant wear certain clothes because it “distracts the boys” at your own home, thats kinda silly considering what year it is but yeah they treat everyone the same, someone could’ve murdered a person and theyll be housed in the same house as a kid with an attitude issue..
also about the aging up thing when you turn 18 you have to go.. they have a temporary relief house which barely gets used just for the ones who age out & have no family. it really is up to the parent if you want to stay in contact, if you have anymore questions anyone can email me and ask.. im happy to answerr :)

This place is so awesome!! I do this bike ride/toy run every year and this home never ceases to amaze me with the love and care they give to these children. Its truly heartwarming to ride in and see all the kids standing on a trailer with a big banner that says two simple words "Thank You" and see where the kids have signed it.

We recently donated some things here and we were very impressed by what we saw. The staff were friendly and the children were so well behaved and thankful. We will be giving to this organization again soon!

I have a question..once a child is placed in the home say by the parent,do the child and parent have anymore contact? Or do the child live here permanently? Until they aged out or are they allowed to have some contact with their biological parent?
