We had a very large party, and we received excellent customer service. As out-of-towners on a mini family reunion, we randomly decided to try this restaurant, and I am so glad we did. The food was great with huge portion sizes. We came away so satisfied and pleased with our experience. Best friend mushrooms I've ever had. According to our waitress, with few exceptions, all of their condiments are homemade.

Nice light breading on mushrooms and fish. Fried crab claws were delicious. Food was good. Service was great

Pros; the service was pretty good. Catfish was decent as well. Loaded Potato was good. These brought it up to 2 from 1.

Neutral; shrimp was ok but over cooked a bit. Price for most of the menu was reasonable.

Cons; chicken was over cooked to the point peta should be called for animal abuse ???? it was just dry and to be blunt, not good. Okra was soggy and greasy. The steamed vegetables were bland and tasted freezer burnt.

All in all, a few pros but unfortunately just the majority of the meal wasn’t good. I hate to knock a locally owned restaurant, but it is what it is ????????.

Always a wonderful experience. The staff are awesome and the food can't be beat. I would recommend to any traveler going past Winfeild at mealtime to take the time to go the mile from I22 towards downtown and enjoy the best Bama has to offer. It is worth the distance and time to go!!!!

Cedar landing is a great local dining option. The prices are affordable and the food is delicious. Try the shrimp you'll be pleasantly surprised.

We had a delicious lunch at Cedar Landing! The chicken casserole, macaroni and tomatoes, and turnip greens were wonderful. My husband enjoyed the kraut and sausage, and my in-laws liked their chicken fingers!

We visited here during lunch and this place felt like a very popular lunch destination. It’s a little country restaurant with a basic menu that exhibited my definition of southern hospitality.

Love this place, the food is great and the staff are out of this world. I will travel from Tuscaloosa to Cedar Landing just for the Chicken Fried Steak. Awesome place, don't miss it.

Sorry, but I have to update my review. They no longer open on Saturday until 3:00 pm, too late for us on a Saturday from Tuscaloosa. We will miss you guys.
