Nice little place to eat. Staff was friendly, it was clean, temperature was good. It felt like a good home cooked meal going there. The BLT was amazing, the Country Fried Steak was loved by my husband (and he's picky) I got the blackened shrimp which was excellent with the cornbread dressing and salad, yum. Prices were great too.

I really enjoyed eating here. There were plenty of options on the menu and the food was excellent. The staff was friendly and took care of our large group right away.

Great service, loads of staff and no one was waiting for anything. Food was great except for the corn bread they give out for dinner rolls. Not a fan. But definitely would still recommend.

Great place for home cooking! Meatloaf was great, and the mac and cheese was, annoyingly, better than what I make. I was amused by the tiny biscuit... But, as it was accompanied by a couple of corn fritters, I have no complaints. If it's busy you may have a wait, but I encourage you to be patient. It's worth it!

The service is great and all the staff is friendly. I ordered liver with onions (no gravy), mash potatoes & green beans. The green beans were way way too salty! But the grilled liver was delicious! My husband order pork roast, purple hull peas & mashed potatoes. Again, way too much salt on the peas! Our suggestion would be to please hold the salt! It is not good for blood pressure and it appears that most of the customers are elderly (like us) so we do not need the salt! We loved the waitress. She was sweet and had a great sense of humor. Please use less salt. Customers can always add more if they need to.

Used to go to the other location all the time with my family. Went to this location last week and it was great! Service was fast, considering we got there 10 minutes before our order was ready. Great experience all around.

I've eaten here twice with family visiting from out of town. Each time, we were greeted and seated quickly. The selection of meats, sides, and desserts is filled with traditional Southern favorites. Before the orders are brought out, the server delivers a basket of fried cornbread, which is a crunchy and tasty starter.
The food was well prepared and delicious from start to finish!
I highly recommend the Ross Clark Circle location since that's the one we visited.

True southern cooking. All food had great flavors with the southern down-home atmosphere. We will stop by again on our travels through that "neck of the woods" as my daddy always said.
