Had beef bbq sandwich and tea but thr sandwich didn't taste that great to me....ur welcome to give them a try. Staff didn't seem friendly

I came here with friends and family, the food is awful. It sits under a heat lamp to long. The bbq sandwich was chipped and seemed to pre made.

The food has been better, I had the Beef Brisket platter and the meat was dry and tasteless, the BBQ sauce was bland as well as the stew. The service is friendly and prompt and the prices are reasonable. The place is old and worn out , could use an extreme makeover design!!!

Usually "mom and pop" places have the best food but this was a bit of a disappointment. It wasnt BAD per se, but it wasnt great. My sister had a chipped pork sandwich and fried okra. She said the sandwich just didnt have a great flavor to it, and in my opinion, the batter for the okra could be better. I had a turkey salad sandwich and camp fire stew. The sandwich could have had lettuce and tomato to attempt to make it worth $7 - and no side included. The tiny little cup of the stew was absolutely not worth $3.99 for both size and taste. I took a pic but I dont see where you can add them. The restaurant had more of a truck stop feel to it than anything. I didnt get a vibe of the kind of place I would want to go to frequently. Not saying dont go eat there, but it just wasnt as good as we would have hoped.

We got food to go. The portions are large and on to go orders, they give you utensils, hand wipes, napkins, salt and pepper packets and they separate all of this from the food with a thin piece of paper so it’s all in one container. The BBQ is what I would describe and sweet & tangy, their pork is finely chopped and their ribs where tender. They serve the sweet and tangy sauce on the meat so ask for it on the side if you prefer dry. The okra was good and the potato salad has mustard and pickles. The strawberry shortcake dessert was made from scratch. The place has been around a long time, there is a front to go area and a dining area in the back that has a diner feel.

The food and service were great. I’m glad I didn’t listen to the other reviews. We got the bbq plate and turkey salad sandwich and both were delicious.

I've eaten here in the past and it was too good to go back, but today was a total disappointment. the potato salad looked like mashed potatoes, the meat was a fried breaded hamburger. the only good thing was the baked beans and the dessert

The Ribs was good but that's all, I the older woman behind the counter wouldn't respond to me at all and walked off, but they helped the white guy, he was the one that pushed for them to acknowledge me at the takeout counter. Very poor customer service
