The food used to be great but over the years it has become horrible especially after Ms. Maggie. When I visit, I always try to stop and Friday, 30 June 2023, I got a chance to stop and placed an order for a hot roast beef sandwich, add cheese and bacon with gravy and ranch on the side. Horrible. Not only have the prices increased but the quality has decreased significantly. I got 1 strip of bacon and the cheese melted off the sandwich or either they put half a slice of cheese on the sandwich. Either way, they should refund me my money for what I received. I feel that I was cheated out of my money for what I received. This is unacceptable.

I stopped here after driving 2 1/2 hours. I got the lunch special which was spaghetti with meat sauce, a green salad, and garlic bread for only $9! It was all good. The spaghetti sauce was very flavorful and the portion large. Great deal and very good service. Place was nice and clean.

No menus to look at until you are standing at register to order. Took more than normal wait time to get food. Pizza tasted strange, BBQ spud was tasteless, dry Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the fries tasted bland. We are not normally picky customers but we could not finish the food. We each tried each others food trying to make a meal out of it. Didn’t dare complain bc one person (we sat near the pick up area so we could hear) complained and the employee acted as if she didn’t hear the customer and just stared at him. Very disappointed. This is my 3rd and last time going there. Some of the employees completely walked past people standing waiting on refills, flatware, and condiments numerous times. 5 people standing waiting for more than 5 minutes at the counter.

Food is good. Service is terrible. Waited 34 minutes on our order. Finally got it and had to wait for the employees to finish their conversation between each other to get silverware.

Prices are pretty high also. $4 to add a side salad. $3 drinks. Lunch for 4 was over $60.

I always stop here at least once while in Demopolis. The lasagna and deluxe pizza are very good. The "small" pizza is about the diameter of a store-bought frozen pizza, but with more toppings and much better flavor.

Went this evening around 8.44 to get the monday special. A lady behind the desk would not take my order. Even though they closed at 9:30 which she told me. When I asked as a customer for just some to go food. She told me we close early if were not busy. I'm never going back. I hope customers respond to this ignorance by not going there

Mr. G's was a fairly nice place to visit and I really liked their Salads and pizzas; those were delicious and fresh... but I also had their alfredo. To be honest, their alfredo seems like walmart brand noodles mixed with Walmart brand alfredo. I couldn't get past it, so I didn't eat it. Aesthetics reminded me of a 1980s restaurant. I haven't seen faux leather tablecloths in literally forever.
I'd still eat here again though. Menu was diverse and most of the food is delicious.

Ordered half dozen plain wings and a large pizza. As for the wings, the picture speaks for itself. That's 10 bucks worth. We threw out 3 of them as they were inedible. If you like ketchup on cardboard, order a thin crust. You won't be disappointed. Never again.
